yes im doing it,:shakeno: starting a thread about any 2nd string qb that does alright:rolleyes: , i would be interested in him if he became disgruntled being behind mike vick, i had wished we had originally drafted him, true he is going against a horrid vikings team but i think hes pretty prototypical with a live arm and some good mobility and decent size. i agree that miami needs to get their OWN qb to become their franchise qb but with all the decent qbs in next years draft the falcons may be content to let an already developed qb for a draft pick hopefully not above a 4th and maybe a late conditional pick. comments?

He's perfect...for a team that runs the west coast offense.

schaub is a franchise QB waiting to get a chance. the falcons know this, though, and would want a pretty penny in return for his services

They won't be willing to get rid of him because Vick seems to always be getting injured, like in today's game.

any1 the dolphins have now is capable of going 5/14 for 39 yards like schaub did today..........not an upgrade

So is Feeley.
That's my point, Shaub has always played in the WCO, in college and the pros, it would take a long time (if ever ala Feeley) to get comfortable in our system.

I think Schaub seems very good. He does seem more suited to the west coast style. I honeslty think he would do just as well as Vick if given the chance to run that team. He doesn't have the physical talent or the legs, but he has the skills to be an efficient passer. And with Atlanta's running game, he would have very little pressure.

I would take him over any QB on our roster. I wouldn't go crazy and trade a first round pick or anything though.

I went to all his games here at UVA. I think he makes a very good backup QB, but not a starter. Just my opinion though, and I've been wrong at least once in my life :)

He'll never be any better than a career backup in the NFL.

How is Feeley perfect for the WCO when every quick out pass to the flats goes for a TD the other way?

Schaub is perfect for the WCO. He had an off day today but is a solid QB. Good (not great) attributes. I could see him developing into a starting for a transitioning team but ATL would want too much for him at this point. He means too much to them.
