Matt Schuab anyone?

I know he will probably be a hot offseason commodity. The guy is only 25 and has a cannon of an arm.
Do you think we will have any interest in him? Could we afford him? Or are we just going to have open competition between Joey and Daunte?

Agreed. He hasn't played enough to be considered a sure thing. Their asking price is too high and unrealistic.

Likely won't get him, but he does have potential to be a good QB in this league. Got a strong, accurate arm, and a high IQ for the game. Plus he's young, so if he lives up to his potential in a team, they would be set at QB for the next 10 years.

Which is exactly what this team doesn't need. That's all Joey can do and that's why Chambers is struggling. We need a QB who can get the ball down field. Notice last year we have Gus who is inaccurate, but has the big arm to make the big play. It isn't just a coincidence that Chambers had an all-pro year with the big armed QB. Daunte is a big arm guy and will get Chambers back to his all-pro level.
