I wasn't aware he was a second year player, but still, this might and probably would be his first NFL game he appears in. Hopefully the offense will be good enough to keep the punting unit off the field.

$760,000 and the Dead Cap from releasing Turk would be only $166,666 which had lead me to believe that we would end up releasing Turk and that Donnie Jones would end up making the team... regardless though, I'm glad that Donnie is on our Practice Squad.

I think the bigger concern is who is going to be the holder for Mare. We already have a rookie LS and the infield dirt to deal with. I really don't want to have a holder who Mare isn't familier with to complicate the kicking game anymore.

I think Jones was the Seahawks punter for the second half of the season. It is good that he's had some experience behind him.
