Matty Flynn & Peyton Manning Officially on Dolphins' Radar

This is a great point and one I have brought up previously when the Manning to Miami first started during the season. You have to remember with Peyton that the Colts don't sign free agents. They draft guys and coach them up within their system, and the coach of that offense is Peyton Manning. Guys like Clark, Garcon, Wayne, have been playing under coach Manning since they got into the league. He's been pushing them to do it his way and really molded them into his weapons. The Colts players talked during the season about how one of the biggest problems they faced with Curtis Painter is that he just couldn't run the offense the way Manning does. That they just weren't on the same page with him with the calls and all of that even though he's been in that system for years now.

You can't just plug and play Peyton Manning and expect to get that Colts offense.

I think that if you plug a healthy Peyton Manning into the Phins current roster, you get an offense better than that of the Colts. There is already a MUCH better running game, he has some very good receivers, shore up the RT position, and he could kill some numbers IMHO.

I don't think he will ever play again either though. Too bad, easily a top 4 QB I have ever seen play the game. Right up there with Montana, Johnny U and of course Dan.... Guess top 5, cause I would put 2 Dan's in that list.

I'm sure this is more of Arm And Oh's inside info?

This guy should be brought up on charges of slander with all the BS he "Reports". Its like seeing newspaper articles in the Fiction portion of the library.

Yeah, Armando makes **** up faster than a demented fortune teller. I can't stand his fairy tale negative nellie articles. Anything he says you can just automatically discount as bullcrap.

Manning is done. If anything he will stay with Indy as a mentor to Luck for a year. Then he will retire a colt. His injuries are way worse than what anyone on this board realizes. He had his vertebrae fused together. Last ditch effort to try to stop the nerve damage in his arm from getting worse (not to correct what is already done). Thank Manning for what he has done for the game and move on to some real possibilities for Miami. Flynn is the future.

Anyone who thinks Manning won't play again should do some research on the stem cell therapy he has been getting overseas.

They use your own cells and inject them into the area that needs to regenerate. The results in some cases has been nothing short of amazing. Even people with severe burns have regrown skin that looks completely normal. The before and afters are jaw dropping.

I think Peyton will be fine in 6 months, and I seriously doubt that the Colts truly have any intention of paying him and Luck together over 50 million. That's nuts. They would have to let all their free agents walk and make cuts.

Another thing, their just aren't that many teams that will be interested. Luck,RG, and Tannehill are going to be priority picks. Manning isn't going to be signed by any team that plans on drafting those guys.

The Vikes are a bad team that is heading downward. There is no way Peyton goes to the Jets. Peyton and Rex are polar opposites, and the Jets have cap issues. Peyton isn't going to Cleveland or MN.

Seattle maybe? Redskins will probably pursue him but I think Peyton would like the idea of starting anew with a guy like Joe Philbin. South Florida is definitely the more appealing place to live. If the Dolphins made a commitment to Peyton that they would prioritize the OL in the draft, I think we would have IMO the 2nd best QB in the game right now.

I think he will play for another 5 years, at least three.

finnettkkkchmmmbrrssmkknnytt...lol...pllsss dnnt klll hmmm "mttee"...lol...etts matt...lol

I would think of the two, if Philbin says that Flynn is everything he wants him to be I think you have to take Flynn. Dont get me wrong I would love Manning in a Fins uniform but there are a lot of if's.

We want Manning on the market to help with Flynn or getting a young QB. More arms the better.

I really agree. I mean, yeah if we could have our talent + their knowledge of Manning over the years, it'd be great. But Manning could be done and we'd have a short time

Go with Flynn...

Manning would be a waste of time...

I understand you might want to go with Flynn as I would but to say that Manning would be a waste of time is a bit too much don't you think. Could you imagine if we had Manning w/ our receiving core? I know they haven't looked great but Manning can certainly turn any good receiving core great. It gives me the chills just thinking about Manning in a Dolphins uniform going up against Brady twice a year. Even if it's for only 3-4 years, it is worth it IMO.

Flynn I wouldn't mind now that Philbin is here. But Peyton manning? I'd seriously cream in my pants if we got him. it's Peyton MFING Manning! That would be a dream come true even if he's coming off an injury year and for 4 years. Dream come true.

No to Manning and maybe to Flynn at a reasonable price.

Wait!

What?

Just last week, Arm And Oh suggested he had insider info that McCoy was already the coach. The articles are in HERE!!!

He is neither qualified nor good. He guesses lucky once in awhile.

He thinks Omar is a good reporter that is Pulitzer worthy.

And a healthy young Manning netted how many rings to Indy? 1...there are now too many additional intangibles (health, new system, new teammates) to account for, and would probably take him more than a season to get in sync, IF he is healthy...This could set us back for years!

Manning would be a disaster for Miami. He would be brought for the sole purpose to sell tickets, not winning games. These short term QB fill ins never work. Whether that is Favre to the Jets or Montana to the Chiefs, they do not work. It would derail any chance of the Fins finding a long term solution at QB. BAd move.

I think what you are referring to is
Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation (ACI)

This hasn't been done anywhere but within the knee to my knowledge. I am very aware of what it is seeing that I have had Microfracture on both knees since last March.

Your a little off on what you are saying. This is a process where they do indeed go in and remove "healthy" cartilage, they send it to a laboratory (There is actually a few in the North East, not overseas) and then the reintroduce the newly grown cartilage into the joint.
If my Microfracture doesn't hold up, this is indeed the next road I would go down.

This procedure is neither done overseas, nor would it help Peyton Manning accomplish recovery. He has extensive issues with the spine itself, it has nothing to do with the Cartilage.

Some light reading.....
