HELLO ALL:

The Dolphins would make a huge mistake if they drafted Matty Ice number 1 overall. He is overhyped and cannot win big games. His arm strenghth is on the south side of Jay Fielder and I read some were that he was far sighted.

Anyway the only choice the wise choice would be to draft Jake Long or Chris Long.

Besides we allready have a future hall of famer in John Beck! If John Beck would be coming out of college this here he would be the No.1 pick. So in a way we actually have to No.1 overall picks and a 3rd bonus pick in the first round. IF that makes sense.

PS: I added you to my friends list as it stands you are my only friend in the world accept for Perriwinkle. Lets see how long that lasts. :azmang:

While I disagree Beck is a "bust" yet, drafting Ryan is starting to grow on me a little.

finally! some 1 who agree with me and knows that beck is not the answer. Im not going to upset beck fans here and say he is a bust i wont . It wouldnt be fair to him. Im just want to say that he is not going to be our franchise qb anytime soon. There r rumours floating around that the phins have contacted Byron Leftwich. I must be honest here im not a Leftwich fan but i think he is a better option then Beck. i also half to admit i am not a fan of Ryan but it is growing on me a little. I would almost guarantee that Tuna and co will draft another qb. Lets be honest here all his allies r gone and at 28 Beck is no franchise qb. Every one say be patient and give him time how can u when he is 2 years away from 30.

All that being said he deserves a chance to start in 08 and he WILL get that.

I think John Beck would differ greatly, and absolutely nowhere has it been said that Parcells brought in David Lee to confirm Beck is a bust...

Hey man I agree, but he's no different from a handfull of guys on here who make similar matter of fact comments about Beck..
 
Not Spam. Just maybe needs to have OPINION added to it. I agree with him. Why? Ok, let's check the ways we've tried to replace Dan Marino:

Bring in some backup QBs who had success in backup duty. Check. Failed.

Bring in re-tread starters. Check. Failed.

Draft questionable later round QB. Check. Failed.

Time to draft a real prospect at QB.

I respect the John Beck fans. And I would love nothing more for him to prove me wrong and develop into an NFL QB. But he's done nothing to prove he can get the job done. And I think some people are still fooling themselves that drafting John Beck instead of Brady Quinn (yes, I know, he's not a Dolphin, move on) was not a mistake. It's ok guys. The old regime is gone. You can admit they were screw ups now.
 
I don't think anything is more important than deciding who are QB is going to be. I think a little of people are in the "Give Beck a chance" camp, but we cannot afford to wait a couple more years to get this right. I liked Beck at BYU and watched him play some games in person, and many games on tv. I think Beck is OK, but I think Ryan is better. I say we draft Ryan, and keep Beck around as a backup, and possibly Lemon or a FA veteran for the 3rd spot.
