Maualuga pulled his hamstring running the 40 and he left looking upset and he said he may of herd it pop and I don't think the trainer said it was ok will it drop him down in the draft. This happened to Orakpo to but The trainer said he was fine. Hope Maualuga isn't badly hurt but who knows this might drop him down to us or if he is hurt bad take a chance with a second but I think he will be fine.

this wont affect him at all. i still hope he makes it to a tradable place (15th ish) but even if he does i doubt we make a run at him. the combine is going to make Cushings look and be a higher pick than Rey Rey. at the end of the day it doesnt matter, neither will be there when we pick 25.

I agree and dont see him dropping to us. And if BP and Co. decide to trade up for him, i hope we dont give up a first day pick. i'm not sold on very many people in this draft to be losing draft picks like that.

Stop with this crap he sucks and Parcells doesn't want him END OF STORY. He is going to end up in San Diego or similar.

ya he def doesnt suck. he may not be worth the trade up, but he is an absolute beast. idk what your probs with him are, but i would seriously like to know. i may have, and prolly did miss something, but when i looked at games he looked great and smart. i saw that the level of talent opened things up for him that other backers couldnt afford to do, but that doesnt make him "suck"

He is nonexistant in coverage. He takes bad angles and always goes for the big hit rather than the tackle so he misses a lot of tackles. The talent around him made him look better than he is. He cannot rush the passer to save his life.

Hmmm....you say he sucks, but he was the clear-cut leader on a great USC defense last year. Unless you've seen him play multiple times, I find your opinion very biased.

I really wish the Phins would draft more Trojans because they churn out good pros all the time. The WR Patrick Turner is 6'5" and 223 lbs and looked smooth in the combine receiving drills.

My favorite team(Game****s) didn't even play them so it has nothing to do with bias. I just know a good football player when I see one and he isn't one. All of this talk about us taking him is illfounded and you will all see how big of a bust he is.

That is laughable. What makes you think you know more than Gruden or all the other dudes commenting on the combine? I guess you know more about football than the coaching staff of USC, too? Please, I watched Trojan games and Rey is the real deal. Cushing is the overrated one, IMO.

Okay if you watched so many of their games then why did he have no sacks all season? Why did he only have 52 solo tackles? Why did he have no forced fumbles at all? Those are the plays playmakers make. He is not a playmaker. He had the one pick six against the Buckeyes and the pass was a horrible one that anybody could have picked off. He didn't even have a single pass defended. He is a product of the talent around him not his own skills. He is also undersized for our team so that is another knock right there.

USC does produce good football players. Maualuga just isn't one of them end of story.

He's 6'2" and 260 lbs. How is that undersized for us?

As sick as it is, that is exactly what I thought when he pulled up, that maybe, just MAYBE he will fall to us. Wow that would be a dream come true.

led USC in tackles and led the best LB corp in the nation in picks. one for a td.
