Why does everybody not want us to draft clarett i think he could be one of the best backs in the draft and if he's not big deal a 5th rounder is wasted I know he has had problems but if he was allowed to enter the draft last year he would have been a 2nd rounder but one ruling , a bad combine, and a year off make him undrafted b/s he still has talent and will want to prove everyone wrong we better draft him because it doesn't look like we'll take a back in the 1st and he's the best option other than the big three, Barber is good to but i'd rather shazor at #46 or bullocks

I'd take him but only in the 7th and only if we don't draft another RB which is highly unlikely

Let's see ... injury-prone, out of shape, bad attitude, character questions ...

bullocks in the 2nd.

Clarett is baby..not worth the risk... ill take character over his "talent" any day case....

I dont think nobody wants to have him people just dont want to get him early, if he is around at 6 or 7th rd I would jump on him

Clarett in the 7th maybe..if he is not there...I feel bad for the poor team that took him prior to that...

HERES MY TAKE

I LOVE THE CLARETT IN THE 5th/7th

i saw him play 6 times at OSU including the Fiesta Bowl
and trust me this kid can play

whatever team gets him is a steal because he has first round talent
just like when denver got TD in the 5th years ago

clarett could make that much of an impact for a team!!!!!!!!!

I think hes going to be a superstar, and is worth the risk. He was great at ohio state, and I think his off the field problems are exagerated.

i totally agree

Clarrett is a gamble, but one that could pay off big time. Its like playing craps and putting a bet on the hardways. It can pay off huge! But, it could just be wasted money.

what player in rounds 6 and 7 isnt a gamble???

you guys will see he'll go in the 5th and be one of the top rookies this year he has something to prove and the talent to do it

I agree,,,, He kind of reminds me of the Priest situation,,,,, Priest was good in College but ran an even slower 40 time and was undrafted, that's right undrafted, he doesent look so slow now does he? I think Clarett would be a great fit in KC. Priest could help mold him into a good back

He had one good year............that's it. He showed up to the combine out of shape and then tanked because he sucked so much. He also is a huge idiot with his court challenge to get in the draft after his sophmore year, probably worried he'd flunk out of college. He has "I want to get paid" written all over him, probably take his first cheque and walk out.

One good year he left as a sophmore what do you expect for him to rush for 1000 in his freshman year he's great and everyone knows it he could be a bust in the nfl but if he played this year he wouldn't make it out of the top 20 regardless how dumb he is

I'm sure we will draft/trade for a RB on day one of the draft. That would leave us with Gordon, Morris and Minor as backups. Do we really need to draft another RB, even with his potential ?? I could be wrong and a couple of 1300 yd seasons would make me forget, but he has disgruntled player written all over him. Soon as he has a bad year or doesn't get a break that he thinks he should, he'd be complaining and moaning all over the place...I just don't see him as a Saban type guy...
