On facing the Dolphins: “It’s going to be a unique game in that we all pretty much know each other from hanging out, or they have guys like Akin Ayodele who was on our team. I know a bunch of their guys from training down there in Florida. It’s going to be a tough game, we know they’re going to be physical, we’re a physical team, and you just have to be prepared for that.”
On playing for Dolphins wide receivers coach Karl Dorrell at UCLA: “It was a great relationship. Coach Dorrell was a very interesting coach, very detail oriented coach. What he taught us there, I was able to bring here and help us with the Jaguars. The relationship’s great, I actually hung out with him this offseason a little bit. We’re supposed to play golf sometime, but I think he’s running from me.”
On the Dolphins defense: “They all play fast, physical, their safeties do a great job of fitting in the run. Akin (Ayodele) and Channing (Crowder) do a great job and actually Joey (Porter) and Jason (Taylor) do a great job. I think one person we have really noticed is Kendall Langford. He’s doing a heck of a job right now. Everybody’s playing on a high level, even their nose guard who hasn’t started as much since the guy’s (Jason Ferguson) been on IR, he’s been doing some great things. It’s going to be a tough challenge for us. Every week, I think for the rest of the year, and since this year’s gone on, is going to be a tough challenge for us, and we have to rise to it. We have to come in ready
