He was cut, his contract didn't expire. He visited us prior to the free agent signing period, and it wasn't a secret. As soon as he was cut he was free to sign elsewhere.

One thing I can't get over is how a player will play the majority of his career with a team in the AFC East, and then jump to another team in this division.

Look at Byars, Parmalee, Fiedler, Izzo, Woody Bennett, etc.

Mawae will probably choose us or NE.

Really? They didn't make it there this year. I don't see what makes them have the best chance over several other teams. I'm not stressing over this, it's Kevin FREAKING Mawae people, not Dwight Stevenson, if he comes here, great, he'll be servicable for a couple of years, if not, we'll move on without him, I'd love to have him here, but i'm not going to over react based on a "Secret Meeting" :sidelol: Is that anything like double secret probation?
