JUST IN: HUGE 6.8 overnight rating for ESPN’s #NFLDraft Rd 1, highest-rated 1st Rd coverage ever on ESPN (records go back to '98).

I hate it, but because of the huge ratings it's bound to stay.

But it's hard to know if that's because it's in May or just the consistent growth of the NFL in general. Hasn't it been growing yearly anyway?

I agree, that had a lot to do with it, and because of that we have May drafts from now on.
