I hate to give credit to to anyone on ESPN but this team is absolute garbage. If the coaching staff and players don't change things around soon they will be lucky to win 4 games.

I can just imagine what Brady would do to this vanilla defense.Besides Tannehill, there is nothing positive on offense.I did have some hope this year as many other fans here had,but after last nights debacle I am very worried.

I know it is still early but it seems the analysts are spot on with our team again

Why would you hate to give credit to analysts and experts who played the game and might know a bit more than others?

There are a lot of questions to be sure but seriously.... has everyone forgotten how unreliable preseason games are at predicting performance in the regular season?

He may be right but no one has successfully used preseason games as a predictor of success.

Veterans generally aren't as motivated, the coaches don't game plan at all, there's been no time to develop chemistry because of all the swapping, etc.

Check practice reports of the O-line. Not the case there.

Case in point there..

I am very concerned. It is difficult to measure as fans whether this is designed vanilla, or a glimpse of the team coming out of the gate.
What is very alarming to me is the lack of tackling, very poor blocking on running plays, and sloppy pass defense.
The only thing that has impressed me this preseason is the play of the special teams.

I agree that it is only preseason but there is no one besides Tannehill looking any good. Our team really has zero playmakers besides Bush.I really just hope this team makes positive strides this year.I am not giving up hope.

This is bad. Real bad. Our fan base is diminishing. I could see losing the team to L.A.

I guess Green Bay is gonna suck too, I mean they lost to Cleveland 34-10.

don't be disingenuous. No one is saying things look bad because we lost. W/L doesn't matter. What does matter is the ability to execute plays. And if you hadn't noticed, the O is anemic, and the defense gave up nearly 200 yards and 17 points in the first QUARTER. then they let derek anderson throw for 107 yards.

no one is saying its bad because we lost. Its because the football they're playing is BAD.

No Dansby, No Burnett, no Wake. Calm the f**k down.

However, I am really worried about our run blocking, terrible.

I guess you couldn't have just posted this in the Schlereth thread you just had to make a stupid proclamation known to everyone else

Try posing more than once a year then

Bad comparison. Green Bay has been one of the best teams in the NFL the last few years. They've proven they can win. The same can't be said for the Dolphins so they're on a much shorter leash.

C'mon JCane. You know that noone on this forum thinks that anyone in the media knows what they're talking about...even if they are previous players....unless of course they say something nice, then they become brilliant.

What makes Schlereth a savant on this?

Everybody knew the WR corp on the Dolphins was one of the poorest units ever posing as an NFL WR group.

Everybody knew the right side of the O-line was a problem, and that it was doubtful a rookie RT would be an immediate fix..particullary a RT that didn't play right tackle in college...particullarly early in pre-season...particullarly when facing an All-Pro DE that is a beast!

What disturbs me the most is the starting defense...the number of high draft picks invested without return, they have looked very bad the last two games.

I hardly think Schlereth was stating anything most of us didn't already know. Tampa's starters killed our starters....and it continued the same against Caroline.
