I live in Connecticut. I dont get to see too many games on TV. So over the last 4 or 5 years I have been utilzing online radio/gamecenter to watch nearly every Phins game. I have so gotten used to hearing Cefalo, Mandich and rose and watching "The Line" as me and my friend call it. That when I watch a game on Tv, liek when they play the jets or pats it doesnt seem the same. Like it doesnt have that "Dolphins" feel to it like the radio broadcast/gamecenter does for me.

Now it may sound completly stupid for peopel with Sunday Ticket or who live in a dolphins broadcasted area but do any other Phins fans notice the same thign I do. That the monotone TV announcers and seeing the game doesn't have that same excitement and crazieness of the Radio/Gamecenter gamedays.

No you are right. You're just weird.

All kidding aside there is no way in hell I could do that every week. I get the radio feeds during preseason just because I have to if I want to know what is happening.

Sunday Ticket all the way for me, watch the Dolphins every week!!!!

Yep you are strange. The Miami Dolphins Radio broadcast are the WORST in the entire NFL. Cefalo is a joke. He doesnt know the players numbers or positions. I always listen the the opposition teams broadcasts just so that I can get accurate information on whats really going on. Really they SUCK!!!

FREAK!!!! lol j/k i have a homeboy that insist on doing the same thing...he's a weirdo.

th game is actualy on tv guys i watch it. im just saying since freshmen year of highschool (2003 season) I have been doing this. I guess its just a little tradition now. Its been 6 years of doing it haha.

Its like every sunday at 1 or 4 i drink my water or hot tea and listen and watch the "Line". haha its like mondayt hrough saturday i hang out with my friends and go to college and work but sunday i turn into a football geek

When you listen to the Phin's announcers calling a game it is always going to sound a little more positive than listening to other team's announcers, or ESPN/Fox crews. Mandich, Cefalo and Rose know the team better and they are going to be bigger homers. Sometimes that is good and sometimes not. I watch every game at a sports' bar and I usually cannot hear the audio which I kind of like, unless there is some kind of penalty or issue affecting the game. I would probably just buy the NFL ticket if I was living out in the sticks or unable to watch the game.

Thats like having a blow up doll instead of the real thing.

I admit sometimes I'll turn on the radio when we make a good play, just to hear Mandich go nuts. While Cefalo can get annoying with his "Got a receiver" crap at least they know the names of the players, not like these idiotic announcers we always seem to get calling Ronnie:Ricky, calling Ginn:Bess and mispronouncing Camarillo and Satele.

If thats what you like get the best of both worlds. Get Sunday ticket, mute the game and listen to the radio while you watch.

Personally the sports bar i go to when the game isnt on mine as well be a Fins bar with the huge amount of finfans, so i get to her the audio anyway.

i can understand the radio part, and like the above poster said, you can watch the game while listening to the radio feed... but the preference of the game center i dont get...

:woot:

actually you are on to something. I used to get NFL sunday ticket but after our 4-12 season my wife cut me off until we have a real chance of doing something. So now I have to listen on sirius at least until next season.

Here is the funny part, I have had the best time listening this year. My son and I have bonded- first because we had to listen in my car for half of the year and then (i think it was cefelo and I think it was during the 1st NE game) when he said listen to all the babies cry, give the babies a pacifier.

I am not sure how I am going to like sunday ticket next year- i am going to miss those snide comments
