Matt Flynn has had a better camp than Aaron Rodgers so far, according to Tom Silverstein of the Journal Sentinel.
Flynn is making a name for himself as one of the best backups in the league. Per Silverstein, he's "fearless in the pocket, on target with his throws and always calm and collected." If Rodgers were to go down, Flynn would quickly step in as QB1 in fantasy.

The guy is the best backup in the league, and deserves the money. Moreover, if we deal him, the search for a competent backup is immediately an urgent one.

Flynn has one good game and now some newspaper writer is hyping him up in hopes the Packers can get something for him the way the Eagles got something for Kolb.

I'm not buying the hype...yet.

Exactly...show us the product on the field when it counts.

it doesn't make any sense to trade for him at this point, he'd only have a couple weeks to learn a new system and it'd be unlikely that he would start this season over henne anyways, he would likely have to step in if henne stumbles, at which point the season would probably be lost anyhow...in my opinion we should ride or die with henne this season and if we die, flynn will be a free agent next offseason and wouldn't cost any draft picks to acquire if the front office chose to go that route

No speculation that Ireland is even interested, I'd just chill out and expect Henne to be the starter come week 1.

Why would the Packers trade him at this point? They would have absolutely nothing at back up QB. They are just going to wait till the offseason to deal him.

This is going to be a none story anyway because henne looks primed to take that next step dolphin fans have been waiting for

Sigh... every year, every single backup in the league is better... until they get here of course.
