A dream scenario would be:

HC Vic Fangio (DC 49'ers) - We need character, and solid defense, priority: stop the run
OC Gary Kubiak (HC Texans) - We need an OL specialist. Kubiak is one of the best.
DC Kevin Coyle (DC Dolphins) - We were really good at creating turnovers which was one of our priorities and it is something that will help us win.

Keep: O'Keefe (WR's)
Rizzi (ST)
Campbell (TightEnds)
Anarumo (DB's)
Rodgers (DL)

I don't want to get rid of Philbin(of course unless he refuses to get rid of Sherman),

A Name i want to float around that I have seen on twitter (not from experts) is Klingsburry as OC

I really think that a combo of a great OL specialist like Kubiak as OC, paired with a HC (a DC specialist that comes of a winning team like the 49ers) like Fangio will do wonders for our team!!!!!

I think Jay Gruden is going to be a good NFL head coach. Better than his brother.

what big name prospect would want to coach here or Cleveland? If we fire Philbin it would be the worst decision this franchise has made in a long time.....

Why? Has Philbin showed you anything special? How is our OL doing? How about being one of the worst ranked offenses the last two years? I think Kubiak as OC will do wonders and Philbin will NEVER hire him. He will remain with Sherman and his coaching staff, like the OL coach and the QB coach.

Last year we could have tried to land one of the best on the business in Andy Reid, but I guess that would have been a terrible mistake right?

Darryl Bevell from Seattle would be my choice. That guy gets offenses to perform at the highest level no matter where he goes.

The guy has only been here 2 yrs, when you hire a coach give him a chance to be special.....if you fire him and the new guy comes in and goes 7-9 then what do you do? fire him too? No, when you hire someone to do the job, unless he gives you a 0-16 or 1-16 you have to weather the growing pains and not be quick with the ax.....

Do you really think Andy Reid would consider this place after we would have fired Philbin after his first yr? Give me a break, no big time coach will coach here with the instability

I can't stand Philbin.

Reads to the team of cue cards? No wonder there was no rallying cry of the troops before the final 2 games. He tries to talk big and tough, but he simply isn't.

I'm starting to believe the rumors as well that he had only small role in Green Bay's Super Bowl win.

Sherman **** the bed in Green Bay as HC. I'm not surprised our offense stinks now. It sucked then.

Bevell would be my second option (from playoff teams) behind Fangio.

I don't think he would have considered it, but at least Ross should have tried. When a coach of his caliber is available you do your best effort to land him, I don't care if he had been given the power of hiring everyone form the GM to the security guards, you just HAVE to try!!!

When you're supposed to be an offensive minded guy and especially an OL "guru" and your offense takes a step back even after acquiring big play guys, then its time to go. Philbin is a joke and most people can see it. Only thing he's good for is inspecting the field pre game and keeping the practice field free of bubble gum wrappers.
