It's Day Two of the Aaron Maybin holdout, and multiple sources tell us that the Bills and the eleventh overall pick in the draft aren't even remotely close to doing a deal.

In fact, we hear the two sides barely are talking.
While the Bills are not even talking, the Dolphins front office is working hard to get things done.

Here is Sean Smith's agent:

"The Dolphins are one of the more aggressive teams about getting deals done," Canter said.

add a TO implosion in there somewhere, and they'll be up **** creek without a paddle before the season even starts. love it.

And two rookies are going to be starting OL with Langston Walker at LT- how do you say Jpeasy strikes again?

Wow, Bills are looking at getting very little production from there rookies this season if they continue to holdout.

Pretty much means that there pass rush will be no better than last season and their O-Line could be torn apart.

IMO the Bills O-line got worse and Maybin will be utterly useless this season. Rookie DE's rarely have a big impact, couple that with the fact that he hasn't grown enough to carry the weight he needs yet....the Bills are worse than they were last yr.

I dont think any rookies are practicing yet, but the Bills are behind? lol.

We started camp a week earlier then everyone, holdouts were likely. Bryd and Wood will be done today or tomorow, and Maybin by the end of the week.

TO and Lee Evans look amazing right now in camp. Trent Edwards is launching 60 yard passes like its nothing. I dont know where Edwards arm came from this camp.

Problem is the OL, who knows if they can protect him. Langston Walker has lost 25lbs though, which will help him, he looks really good right now.

You were probably saying the same thing about Jason Peters last season.

Jamarcus Russell can fling the ball 60 yards like it's nothing....doesn't mean he's any good. I don't even count Maybin bc he will not be a factor this season.

Like you I think the biggest weakness is the O-line....and I like it!

The Bills dont have a hard time signing rookies once other rookies around them get signed.

I am worried that Crabtree looks like he will take a while to sign and he was the pick before Maybin.

But honestly, your 1st round pick isn't even signed yet. Why are you so worried about a Bills draft pick?

In fact, from this list only 3 1st round picks are signed.

Maybin won't contribute much this season anyway. He is way too raw of a player and is at least 2 years away to start showing his worth in the NFL.

It has nothing to do with the Bills drafting him. I said that about him before the draft.

Would not count on it, well at least not this year

Yeah,, you are right,, I mean T O is going to love all td's edwards will have time to throw to him...:rolleyes2:

I love how you goat fans believe that T O is the missing cog that your offense needs, LOL..

If the billy's would have kept Jason Peters then just maybe bringing owens to goatville would make sense...

Again LOL..
