Mayock's changed his mind yet again.

they all will. none of these mocks hold any water in my opinion until the morning of. kipers mock usually are real accurate the day of the draft. not necessarily player wise, but position wise. i remember in 01 reading his mock saying we were going to take willie middlebrooks at our pick. i thought no way we pick a corner. sure enough wannstedt delievers with jamar fletcher.

Anyone else feel like Mayock is stealing oxygen from the rest of us? Anyone?

That was '01. Carey was taken in '04.

It's funny but thier all say C Long and BP know D wins championships.

Yeah. Good thing the Giants D was on the field for that last drive for the win...

Wait.

You mean it was Eli and the offense that drove down the field and won the game for the Gmen? But that could mean that both offense and defense are equally important in winning a championship! But what will the bobbleheads cling to now!?!? :rolleyes2:

Either Long is fine with me providing there's a good OT still within our grasp. Funny though how he can't stop slurping Ryan although he sees the writing on the wall that bucking the growing consensus impugns his credibility...... assumptively labeling Ryan the "only franchise QB available" when in fact, whether he qualifies for that elite description is highly debatable!

The defence kept it close so the O had a chance to win it. Just like our superbowl wins.

Hence the "equally important" part of the sentence. The concept that you can win the whole thing with one part of the team carrying the other is flawed. You must be strong on BOTH sides of the ball to have a shot, especially in the harsh atmosphere of the playoffs.

A 17-14 score doesn't sound like impressive offenses.
