Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports free agent QB Josh McCown (Cardinals) will visit with the Miami Dolphins. No date for his visit has been announced.
 
After Brees, McCown would be my next option. I like his gunsleiner mentality (sp), age, and his mobility.
 
McCown will cancel his trip after Brees signs tonight.... hahahaha i hope..
 
it has been rumored for awhile we'd sign McCown even if we got Brees because he'd be a cheap young backup

Now everybody wants a piece of Key Lime Pie. Sweet.
 
If I am McCown, I am going somewhere where I can COMPETE for the starting job. If we sign Brees, or trade for Culpepper, that ain't happening. I would think that McCown only comes in if those two options dry up. Then, you have McCown and Frerotte (under a restructure) battle it out. Not ideal but perhaps realistic.
 
McCown will be a nice backup option to either Brees or Culpepper.

And Culpepper, Ty law, Charles Woodson, Bentley, Hutchinson and trade our 1st pick to the Jets for their 1st and 2nd and get Da Brick, Hoff and we would be set. :shakeno:
