McCoy Glad Daboll is Gone

If Daboll could do this with Henne we all would be happy.



“ Daboll grinded,” said Wallace. “He had Colt come in, and they worked after hours. He made sure Colt would be able to manage the game as well as he could.”
McCoy exceeded everyone’s expectations in his debut, completing 23 of 33 attempts for 281 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions en route to a 28-10 loss. Daboll then schooled the rookie well enough to beat the defending Super Bowl champion Saints in New Orleans and the eventual 14-2 Patriots at home. He also took the playoff-bound Jets into overtime the following week, but the defense blew the game at the end.
“It’s no easy task to get [a rookie] to start in this league,” said Browns tight end Ben Watson, who knew Daboll from their New England days. “It was tough on everybody.”
 
McCoy was a 3rd stringer at the time. He wasnt even active on game days. Most 3rd string QBs get ZERO reps in practices. What did McCoy expect?

The sad thing is people will stop by, read that little blurb and take is as gospel truth without ever reading the full story.

Exactly my thoughts. But I gave it the benefit of doubt thinking we had more talent . But 2 losses to the browns we are the 1-15 fins again sucks....
 
cleveland would have TORCHED us if McCoy played a little better, and if the recievers didnt drop a couple. Our D really sucks this year. they need Crowder/Clemmons back badly.

They had blind faith in Sparano and Ireland. You couldn't say anything the least bit critical of either of them without being labelled "not a real fan" or "not knowing 1% of what they know about football".

I'm sorry, Delhomme was brought to be in the starter there last year. He may not be great, but rookies were'nt given the same love as a superbowl veteran, CRY ME A ****ING RIVER.....

Delhomme is not the solution to anything, but having a rookie behind him should, in theory, help teach the rook...

Then again they're from OHIO one of the most disgusting states I've ever had the misfortune of visiting....
