McCoy Mic'd up

what a dumb video....but what's sad is for some people on here to look at that and desice that he'd be a bad coach base on something that ignorant.....I don't know if he's the right guy for the job or not but I will not feel all doomed before we even actually hire the guy.......some people just really like feeling sorry for themselfs....sad.

Ozzy rules!!

Had to stop after the 2nd play.. I thought I was watching SNL...because they both are not funny.

What did you expect? This team has been irrelevant for a long time. Yah everyone should be complete homers and praise everything.

Didn't you get the memo? It's all sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows here. Who cares that we've sucked for over a decade, and are about to make a guy who had a bad offense in Denver, and terrible passing games as the passing game coordinator of the Panthers, our head coach. He learned under the tutelage of the great Dan Henning! Not to mention, he ran the ball when he had a QB incapable of throwing a 5 yard pass with any accuracy whatsoever. Now that's top flight adaption if I've ever seen it. Can't you feel the excitement?

I never seen so many negative nancies if he does become the coach give the guy a chance.

Remember, you are on Finheaven.
The reality is that all the negative posters are just disappointed because they wanted a sure thing (if such a thing exists) as the next HC. They wanted Cowher/Gruden i.e guys who had won a SB or the hot commodity. However, history has shown that it is very difficult to win SB's with 2 different teams (in fact, no one has ever done it). So the odds are that the 'sure thing' would be nothing of the kind. With respect to the hot commodity HC, well, we've been down that road before with Saban or the hot coordinator with Cam Cameron.
Dave Hyde had a nice article about this a few days ago. Very often, the next great coach is a largely unknown commodity at the time they take the HC job (John Harbaugh, Sean Payton etc).
The fact is, regardless of which direction you take, its always a gamble (sort of like the NFL draft) and sometimes you just have to get lucky.
It's comical to read some of the negative comments about prospective young coaches as if these posters even have a clue as to what constitutes a good HC. They have never sat in a coaches meeting with these guys to see how they breakdown the opponents or watched them work with players. Very often, some of these assts get mentioned as possible HC candidates not simply based on their successes as asst's, but also by their personalities (not all assts are cut out to be CEO's/HC's) and organizational skills. Oftentimes, they get recommended by word of mouth (by colleagues) who recognize certain leadership skills. So simply judging a candidate by where his offense/defense ranked any given yr is foolish.

Since NONE of us are involved in the with the interview process, it is not fair to judge these coaches.

For all we know McCoy told them that Tebow blows, that he learned a lot working for McDaniels and learned how to use match ups in the passing game to be efficient, and that his time in Carolina was terrible and working for Dan Henning was the worse thing anyone could ever experience.

See how I can speculate just like you can?

Truth is we don't know jack, so the fact that some choose to be optimistic and some don't is fine. Who are we to judge one another?

I personally wanted Mike Zimmer as our HC, but I am fine with any of the three candidates remaining in the search.

We'll find out who knows what when this loser is fired in 2 years tops. Maybe only one year if he can get this team bad enough to be in position for a franchise QB in the 2013 draft, which is likely.

Or we may not find out if they go with Philbin.

It's easy to speculate, we can all do it.
