Mccoy= vanilla offense....

I'm getting just as irritated. Do any of you that are bashing the guys offensive scheme this season even realize what this guy did?? It was freaking genius. He isn't even my preference and I see that you can't be too stupid to pull off what he did with Tebow as his QB. They had a freaking running back as their QB......and made it to the playoffs. I'm not a believer in Moore, but Tebow couldn't clean his cleats at the position.......but they won!!! They beat us?! Imagine what he could do with a real QB.

Do you know what he did when he was with Carolina? Put the Pom Poms down and Research son, research.

That's because that's exactly what he is..a young Dan henning. The dolphins organization is getting out of hand. Why hire a hit with absolutely no credentials of being a hc. We should have taken more time if this was the case. I feel like we just rushed this because they were so sure fisher would sign then he snubbed them. Ross is a joke I'm not counting out mike mccoy before he has done anythong but as of right now it really looks like this team is headed in the absolute wrong direction. I feel like I'm a fan of the Cleveland browns right now

Your whole post is counting him out but you're not counting him out?

You do some research. His offense has changed when he is under Fox, as he was in Carolina. The fact that with Orton they had the 7th best passing attack, proves he isn't just ground and pound like Fox. OCs also have to accomodate the HC style as well as adapt to the roster. And as I've said before, Ross wants a dynamic offense and I guarantee he has heard something he likes from McCoy because he wouldn't hire a guy that preached vanilla ground and pound to him

After the Dolphins have said for the past couple of years they wanted a high powered offense, now comes the word about Mccoy being our new HC. His track record in Carolina and Denver was that of a running first style offense. The dream of us getting an offense like the Pats, Saints, Packers are out of the question if this guy becomes our HC. Id prefer Philibin because he atleast comes from a system that is considered the best in the NFL....
Forget about the fact we have stunk for so long, what really has let me down more than anything is we are BORING.....

This was the worst season to watch by far in the Dolphins history, just because we knew it was all about Field Goals and Fist Pumps.... Now it looks like we are getting another head coach who thrives on kicking Field Goals too...... At this point our Goal Post will be in the Hall of Fame soon

He made Jake 'freakin' Delhome a Pro Bowl quarterback and his Denver offense ranked in the top 7 in the NFL in passing offense with KYLE ORTON under center. He also helped Brandon Lloyd become one of the NFL's top receivers last season. Not to mention this season, Denver led the league in rushing. That's called adapting to your personnel and that is what good coaches should do. I'd much rather take that than have someone that is so stuck in their ways that they are too stubborn to change.

Running with Tebow as your QB. Pure stroke of genius that is.

I guess you missed the entire Broncos season or the playoff win over the STEELERS.

Worst season so far?

Did you even watch the opening game against the Pats?

The defense lost that game. How many TD's and yards did we have again?

If you are bored by these dolphins, the undeafeted fins would have put your short attention span into a coma.

Seems to me you didn't watch either of those games. I watched the Steelers game and know that Ike Taylor single handedly gave the game away with the worst CB performance in the history of the sport. I also watched the Patriots game and know the Bronco's could only muster 10 points against one of the worst defenses in the league. They couldn't even score in garbage time.

I was referring to the Dolphins opener against the pats...

As for Ike Taylor, now you're just being silly.

I am a Steelers fan. Tebow connected on more bombs against them than any QB has in the last few seasons. The winning TD was the perfect play called at the perfect time. Both Moore and Marshall have been extremely productive players when coached by McCoy.

If they hire Philbin we are just going back to rebuilding from a lower starting point. The team in place now has a good nucleus of young players. They played well down the stretch. No team in the NFL wanted to play the Dolphins. I am very curious who the DC will be...

How many times you going to spit the same bull****? Josh McDaniels had the 7th best passing attack, not this clown. His scheme, his playcalling. McCoy is just another run first clown from the Dan Henning/John Fox mould.

A Steelers fan with a dolphins avatar? Interdasting... Ike Taylor, worst CB performance in the history of the sport. No denying it, so don't. He was used and abused all night long. By far the biggest reason they lost that game.

Ok so if you're going to give credit to McDaniels for the 7th best passing attack, then you cant credit Philbin for the Green Bay offense. You cant have it both ways...

How cute, does cursing in a forum make you feel like a big man? You just keep thinking you know everything about McCoy. You won't know anything until and if he is coach here. I guess it feels good to act like you know everything though. So enjoy yourself. I stand by my comments about the kind of coach Ross will not hire. Guess I wasn't in the interviews like you were though.

No, no I can't. Hence why I never once did so, and don't want him coaching this team either. I'd take him over this loser though that's for sure. At least he comes from a winning organization, with an offense fit for 2012.

Well if you're not going to credit Philbin for the offense in GB, why would you pick him over McCoy? McDaniels came for a winning organisation, so did Mangini and Crennell and there are plenty of examples.

I didn't think it was Vanilla at all when they beat the CRAP out of the Steelers.... Better game plan than any of our games in the past 3 seasons.... really!!!!

Beat the crap out of? They won in overtime as Ike Taylor allowed yet another WR to abuse him.
