You could describe a thousand different people in the same way and only a very small percentage of them would have the other unique characteristics necessary to be a successful head coach in the NFL.

The job doesn't just entail "be yourself and be comfortable with yourself." There's a whole lot more to it.

Sure, but this behavior is about like putting someone in the position of astrophysicist and having him flub up adding 2 plus 2 and then saying “give him time — he’s learning.” Probably won’t turn out well. McDaniel just doesn’t get it.

Well right now we don't have any options
 
McDaniel is a different cat. I think he wants to develop a fun/positive atmosphere for players, which is fine if it works.

He does seem a little more serious on the sidelines the last few weeks, but maybe that's just my perception. The team has also been making fewer mistakes, the penalties are down, so that's a big positive.
 
Just saw a video of Mike McDaniel telling Liam's brother that mom loves Liam more. But I'm too damn incompetent when it comes to the internet, to know how to share it. Could one of you tech savy guys find it and share it, because it's pretty damn funny too.
 
I wonder if Shula, Lombardi or Knoll ever participated in this little girl ****? I think the beta male we have as a coach should be embarrassed.
