DMC isn't running or doing drills, because that way the cowpokes can select him at 22?

If that is really his plan, he is losing a lot of money (not that I think he should be a top 10 pick anyways).

It is finally coming to light. McFadden is highly overrated.

Next up, Jake Long.

No way a player purposely skips combine/drill events just to get his stock to drop in hopes of going lower in the draft. Even if he was stupid enough to want to do that, his agent would be ALL over him and not allow it. Usually guys do it because either they are hurt or know their times aren't going to be elite compared to others and having poor times is much worse than no times at all. One other factor to consider is that some guys are starting to figure out that combine results jump people up in the draft order, but then as more workouts happen, others end up leap-frogging them later. So makes me wonder if he's going to do his own private workout not too long before the draft in order to boost his stock.

Agreed, infact I remember how upset Reggie Bush was after he wasn't selected by the Texans! These guys strive to be the best and want to be No. 1 at everything. Crazy to think DMC wouldn't want to play in Miami or any other team that has the overall pick.

BTW, after the year Adrian Peterson had last year, no way DMC falls out of the top 10, Workout or no.

Amen brother! I think AP will be having an affect on teams this year who normally would be saying, "we don't need a running back". Thus, unless the guy does something to totally scare everyone away, he's a sure top 5 pick, as he's one of the only elite level RB's in this year's draft. And as you indicated, not only do they want to be the top or one of the top picks for ego purposes, but it directly translates into millions of dollars over the course of their first contract. And $$$ always seems to trump any other motives with most rookies.

McFadden is getting some seriously bad advice.

A guy with his body type, who has some serious issues about tackle breaking and running NFL plays needs to do as much as he can, especially considering the off field issues of the last 2 months or so.
