Is he signed thru next season? I thought he signed a 2 year deal with Baltimore but i'm not sure.

man I hope hes signed for at least 3 more years, he can still play at top level. Dolphins fans want young players on this team, but being young doesn't make you good. The Ravens won the super bowl with so many old guys. Id keep McKinnie for at least 2-3 more years.

I hope so too bro.It would be excellent if we could go into the off season only needing one tackle instead of two of them.

one more year. and injuries can happen at any time....and our other future left tackle is being shunned by idiots.

That would be seriously irresponsible. You can't go into next season without having an insurance plan for Big Mac! Thats the sort of thinking that got us in this precarious situation when it comes to the Oline.

maybe I'm alone but Yeatman is our future LT. he fits our scheme very athletic. good job blocking last night as a 3rd tackle, I don't get why they didn't try this guy at tackle before trading for McKinney honestly. but McKinney is a good player when motivated

Bring back Mckinnie and either sign or draft another tackle in the 1st round next year with Martin and Yeatman as back ups. What's the issue?

Someone said in another thread that they voided the last year of his contract when he got traded. Not sure if that's true.

To be honest, with that bad knee, I wouldn't want to hitch my wagon to him. He is providing some HUGE relief to the team right now and may damn well save our playoff hopes, but tackle needs to be addressed VERY aggressively in both draft and free agency this offseason. Branden Albert or trade up for top tier cornfed. As much as I hate to say it, it's needed bad. And you shouldn't have to go all in like that, but the fact is the position has been managed so poorly that now we are left with no choice but to divert big resources into fixing it immediately.

I hope Pouncey doesn't go to jail and we bring back McKinnie next year. If Martin can pull it together, bring him back too.

Replace the rest.

My heart goes out to Martin but I have seen NOTHING in his game that makes me want him back. Maybe he can kick inside to guard and have a satisfactory career who knows.
