I remember McKinnie being on NFL Network during the offseason while he was a free agent saying something like: 'I played for cheap last year, no more cheap deals from me.' Obviously the league didn't agree and he went back to the Ravens. The point is he's going to want to get paid again this year so don't be shocked if he's back on the market for a while.

The next natural thought the GM should have is whatever Mckinney wants, how much more would we be willing to spend on someone just as good thats younger and more reliable long term? Mckinney sets his market, we set ours, and people either negotiate or they move on. You get to a certain point where moving on doesnt help you get a bigger deal. I would just look to sign him to a one year deal for a good amount of money say like 4-5 mil. But we may just go out and get a LT in FA and be done with it while drafting our RT.
