McKinnie suggests change of rhythm and cadence

They lost last week so according to this forum they are the devil.....wait until they beat the Jets next week and see what they say lol its actually kinda a funny, just last week they were writing Philbin should be coach of the yr, this week the whole staff is bad......you can't make this stuff out lol

Actually, they get lots of praise for the things they do well, that doesn't diminish the things they don't do well.

This is a huge part on it ... yet another coaching failure. If they can't coach this out of him, they need to move him to guard.

To be honest, this is precisely the reason I don't give a crap if they fire the entire offensive coaching staff after this season.

How do you not notice that your best blocking performance of the year, when you cause multiple offsides penalties, comes in the game Pouncey is out? Yeah, we were playing against a bad DL, but when was the last time anyone went offsides on us other than that? Come on.

you think the players need the coaches to tell them to get fired up for a divisional rival, and a chance at the playoffs? If that's the case, miami should just go ahead and clean house. top to bottom. including all 53 players. As a person that's played football for many years, I got hyped up enough, just knowing we are going up against rivals and/or playoffs were in reach. The players/leaders/captains of the team also helped get me fired up.

I am tired of excuses for the game day management failures of Philbin. It should not surprise us as he had no experience calling plays in Green Bay. What a big spot for him on Sunday.

Don't you think this coaching staff deserves any credit? Not even for the way it handled the Martin situation?

Making sure your cadence doesn't tip off the defense is Football 101. If our coaches aren't able to fix something that simple, then they deserve very little credit for anything. Buffalo's defense was teeing up on us last week and it was embarrassing, more so because it's been an ongoing issue that doesn't even appear to have been addressed in light of McKinnie's comments.

Man, if only we had McCoy as coach. We would be 8-7 right now........

Maybe Miami's record would be better. I give Joe credit where it applies...keeping the team together during the Martin fiasco is one. Another is I think Joe is a decent man and would never order a Code Red on Martin. I think he coached a great game vs. the Pats. However, too many flat moments to start games and too many times of soft resolve after the team gets leads. Teams mirror their coach and this team does it to a fault.

BTW, I would not be dumping on McCoy too much. His team has a real shot to get in still.

Miami's own defense hasn't said that the cadence is tipping them off during practice. Are they retards?

McKoy has a real shot to get in = coach of the year

Philbin = snake

Plus, Philbin is using player tracking software at practice, I guarantee he has actual measured data on this.

Omar used to complain about it (probably picked up on it from reading finheaven) and the last time he was asked about it on WQAM his response was: its not a problem, trust me on that. Its clear (to me anyway) somebody in the organization pulled him aside and explained the reasons we use the go/go-go count.

Philbin's team has a more realistic shot to get in and that hasn't stopped you from dumping on him.

Isn't it strange that a the Patriots and Jets coaching staff didn't pick up on it also? The whole thing is weirdo 101

Not sure why you don't become a Broncos fan the're perfect.

Last I checked. Unless you have 1.2 Billion dollars to buy the team, you have no choice but to tune v in n on Sundays. Or you can always just turn the TV off..

I think there are areas he has underachieved in. The flat play in both Buffalo games, the lousy effort vs. Tampa and the 2nd half game management in the first Bills game, road Pats game and Panthers game was simple brutal.

You don't think McCoy has underachieved this year? they have the same record. They even lost to the underachieving Dolphins.
