McKinnie suggests change of rhythm and cadence

this is what I tell my defense if I am prepping them for a game against miami...

If I call a blitz and you are trying to time the snap... I want you to look at the offensive guard, when he taps the center on the hip, the you have 1/2 second before he snaps it.

hip tap, look between the legs to tannehill, snap...

can't telegraph it anymore.

The worst part of this is that it makes no sense. There is no advantage gained by the Miami offense through using "go" and "go-go".

i don't know. the genius that is Bill Belichick couldn't figure that out, the second time they played miami.

Not sure why you don't become a Broncos fan the're perfect.

Ah yes, the only real fans are those who keep their heads in their rumps and refuse to see what's right in front of their faces. If you can't handle fans of the same team you root for engaging in critical analysis of the team, perhaps you should get tickets to the ballet.

Here ya go... http://tickets.miamicityballet.org/

You know the snap count SUCKS when people who don't even play football know when Tannehill is going to snap the ball. Jesus Christ. Go. GO! It's embarrassing.

You don't think McCoy has underachieved this year? they have the same record. They even lost to the underachieving Dolphins.

1. Year one vs. Year Two
2. McCoy's team has had devastating injuries to main cogs on the team
3. McCoy inherited a terrible defense that he has had to manage through.
4. Do not underestimate the coaching job he has done working with hotheaded Phillip Rivers. It is just another QB with a different skill set he has succeeded with. From Tim Tebow to Peyton Manning to Phillip Rivers, Mike McCoy has done great work with QB's. All of them attest to that.

With that said, I hope that Joe gets into the playoffs Sunday. It would be an awesome accomplishment.

McCoy's team had a meltdown against Houston to open the season. Got it taken to them in Oakland in week 5. Failed to convert in a huge situation in Washington and lost there in week 8 which started a skid of losing 4 of 5 in the middle of the season. Looked totally lost against the Bengals in week 13. But yeah Mike McCoy is genius I suppose!

If you want to play that game, his team won at Philly, Arrowhead and in Denver. At the same time, Joe had meltdowns versus New England and Carolina. Had flat teams versus Buffalo (twice) and Tampa. He looked totally lost against the Bills in Week 16.

Stop it.

BTW, I will be jumping around like a little girl if the Fins get in. It would be a major accomplishment. I just do not trust this staff to have the team ready with a great game plan and charged up for the start of the game with the ability to finish an opponent.

I think the Fins play tight Sunday to start and finish. That is my opinion.

McKoy has the 32nd ranked defense according to DVOA. He also has the only QB in the history of the NFL with multiple seasons of 100+ passer rating that hasn't gone on to become SB MVP. Is Rivers an anomaly or has he been mired with terrible head coaches? I would guess that 95%+ of QBs that have 100+ passer rating have at least gone to the playoffs. McKoy blows and Philbin schooled him with the ****ing snap count of all things.

 Yeah, that's my point. You're making Philbin out to be some kind of goat, but McCoy gets by on a ton of excuses. At the end of the day they'll probably both end up 9-7 but I thought the Chargers were supposed to be MUCH better with all that offensive talent. What happened there?

Let's see what happens this weekend. I so hope you are right and we have more football to talk about next week. However, I think Joe's team comes up small Sunday. Rex's team will fly around and play loose. The Fins will be tight.

Jeff Ireland will be blamed. So will Tannehill. So will the free agent pick ups....and some how Joe will skate by with people here. I do not get it.

The Chargers were supposed to be better than Miami? Not sure where you got that, but if you had a low bar for the Fins, so be it.
