Why did we used to think he was good? Did he ever have a good season? The kind of season with big numbers akin to the better TE's in the league? I know he thinks he's one of the elite TE's in the league, he said so last year. I just don't see it.

I think in his first year or two he put up decent numbers. Stunk ever sense. I've never seen anybody drop as many passes as he has. Why he is still on the team is beyond me.

I'm on the fence with McMike right now. Last year we saw him make some nice catches and didn't drop the ball nearly as much. IMO it's more of a lack of a QB and a competent OC that has contributed to McMike's lack of production.

Put his wife's face on that ball and he catch and headlock that thing!! I'm real disappointed in him this year, but what can i really say... I'm a 30 year old white guy who's 5'9 145 lbs. I'd just love to have the chance he has.

I counted at least three drops yesterday from McMike...I am sorry but he just drops it week in and week out....time to cut this turkey loose.

every reciever has had drops for the dolphins this year, theres nothing wrong with mcmichael

He is overpaid and underperforming. I hope he goes in the off season.

That has nothing to do with it. Those balls hit him in the chest/hands and he dropped them. Even if Marino or Montana was throwing them, he would have still dropped them. He is overrated (if rated at all).

I said it before but MM doesn't use the TEs in his offense. Didn't in Buffalo and didn't in Pittsburgh. Sorry guys. :(

Our whole receiving core is nothing but average. Both McMichael and Chambers have underachieved this year, at least Booker and Welker give effort, but if those two are the best receivers on this team, then this team needs to start making changes with its pass catchers. Wouldn`t hurt my feelings in the least if Randy was shown the door!

I too have become tired with McMichael's poor play. I say if we are in the position to draft a stud TE we take it.

I think you try and go somewhere else after 07 or 08 and try and work on bigger holes until then and then worry about getting a new starting TE.

i disagree, this man is a sloppy football player, looks like a train wreck when turning upfield, the opposite of smooth except for his physicue,,boy is soft

It certainly appears that McMike has added weight and the overall impression is: a slow, clumsy guy with bad hands. It appears that the fat contract has made him that way because he was excellent "early on' in his career. No chemistry between him and Joey. Joey has no touch and throws the 5 yard pass 100mph. I know you're paid to catch them but if your guys are "butterfingers" you need to take something off those throws. Joey doesn't. Still. an athletic, pass catching TE is a crtical need!
