McMichael's own words

I think he taunted but so did steve smith the game prior, so does TO, Randy Moss and whats his nuts from cincinati and many others, so why is it that RM got called and no one else?

Well, I dont question that penalty. I was not suprised when I saw the flag n that one, I figured....here comes #18! At that point, the refs were only concerned with getting the Bills a W. So many non-calls on the Bills its not funny. The rumble in the middle of the field was brought on by the Bills and someone yanked Sammy Morris' helmet off and the ref just acted like he was waiting for Morris to react so he could throw a penalty on him.

im sick of talking about it already. It just proves one thing to me. The Bills arent very good at all. You gotta gimme.

TO has been fined plenty by the NFL, Moss was fined as recently at the mooning incident in GB and Chad Johnson has been fined so many times he even held up a sign 1 game that said please dont fine me again.

Steve Smith only got away with it cause it wasnt really taunting. It was just a celebration. He didnt stick the ball in anyone's face like mcmike did. Plus Madison had that coming to him after all the smack he was jawing while getting lit up

To be expected and here's why:

a) Instead of coming out and flaming the refs, he decided to play the good guy card and admit his mistake. That will earn him extra bonus points with Saban who stresses the importance of recognizing what you've done wrong and correcting it.

b) Saying the contrary would've made him 10 000$ lighter and lighted a fire for no reason. Game's over. Move on.

c) No point in bad-mouthing the refs, some probably do read the Herald.

If you notice though we aren't the only ones talking about the refs. They mentioned it in the game today, analyst are mention all the calls. It is getting out of hand. We might as well take the helmets and pads off while we are at it.

I'm surprised they didn't find a way to call offensive holding on that play...

Once again.....

What McMichael did was during the play and before he crossed the goalline

References to Chad Johnson, Randy Moss, T.O., etc do not apply because they cross the goalline and then celebrate after the play is over

Cut and dry

McMike is being politically correct. If he challenges that penalty verbally he will get further reprimanded or fined. given his status with the league and his off-field issues, he cannot afford to challenge the NFL.

on a side note, our beef is with the selective officiating of this issue. How many players do this every game, how often does it get called?

sure seemed to be opportune to the bills then...

Priest Holmes has been doing the same exact thing for years. I've never seen him called for it?

Holmes has the ball on his side that is out-of-bounds. Most runners do this. Holmes doesn't point the ball at a player
