Dolphins tight end Randy McMichael was fined a game check by the NFL for his involvement in an incident with his wife Cawanna in July, according to a league source.
In a letter to McMichael, the NFL informed him of the fine under the league's personal-conduct policy. McMichael, 26, was not suspended by the league for this incident, which is the second time he and his wife have been involved in an argument that has led to one or both of them being arrested.

Wow....I thought he was going to get it a lot worse. I guess that's pretty good news for us. Hope it doesn't happen again.

I would not mind the team handing down a 1 game suspension as a message but I'm not sure if we can do that after the NFL makes a judgement.

I can't believe that he got off that easy. I would atleast figured that he would have to sit one game or be fined for about 3-4 game checks. I hope that McMike learned a lesson from all of this and he better not do something like that again.
 
i really like mcmichael and i hope he makes it to the pro bowl next year. and i am self serving a plate of crow here to demonstrate my humbleness because my sourse was wrong ,so i owe you guys a apology for i sort of just beleived that his punishment would be worse yet i was hoping for the best.

user edit : i fired my source today and i told him to bend it flush .
