PHILADELPHIA -- Donovan McNabb's benching lasted less than 24 hours.

One day after he got yanked at halftime of a close game, the five-time Pro Bowl quarterback got his job back -- for now. McNabb will start when the Philadelphia Eagles host the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night.

"Donovan is the quarterback. I don't want to leave here until you understand that," coach Andy Reid emphasized at his news conference Monday. "Donovan is the quarterback for this football team."

I'm suprised that we haven't seen 35 threads about "Donovan to Miami???" yet.

omg we better trade a pick for him and we better bring in cinc, cinco oh wait he was the one that sent joey porter the case of pepto bismal how would this work for us.?

Most Qb's in the league are bad. He'll get a job starting. His skills have eroded but I think he's alot better than what he's played the last few weeks. He wasn't playing well but I thought the move to Kolb was premature. They were in the game still. Kerry Collins, Kurt Warner, Jeff Garcia were left for dead to and they're playing reasonably well. Other guys like Culpepper, Gus, Hill just can't play.

Minnesota or Chicago i'd consider those most likely to get him.

Minnesota because of his connection to former Eagles offensive coordinator Brad Childress.

Chicago because it's his home town, close to his family, where he'd like to play.

Both teams need QB's badly....

Orton's numbers aren't bad. He does what Chicago asks him to do. He's completing 60% of his passes and has almost a 3-1 TD/INT ratio. If he continues this play I think Chicago would pass on McNabb.

McNabb is a loser.

Not to attack what you said but why? I disagree with alot of what he's done with the media. IMO, he's been given a pass since the Limbaugh comments. He's playing bad but with the Qb's starting in the league he can play. I'm not Ms. Cleo but he's not coming to Miami.

I don't want to discount Kolb because they drafted him to be their Qb. Much like a time will come where Henne is the Qb in Miami. Though look at whose starting. McNabb can help teams.

I'll go ahead and state that i'm partial to Syracuse guys. The program is irrelevant and I want it back on track. The University of Buffalo used to be the joke of CFB in New York now it's Cuse.

I'm gonna start one just for you.

Hypothetically speaking would McNabb not help the Phins? He's playing awful right now. Though Pennington had the same negative vibe when his name came up. This was before he came to the Dolphins.
