McNair in Miami would be awesome. If this was 1999. Too Many Injuries People. Lets push things forward.
 
seems like we like #9's huh? But it also seems to me like Saban and company are throwing tons of crap against the wall to see what sticks. That way it builds a better market for us if we have competition in wanting to come to MIami instead of the other way around.

Why Saban would even consider McNair as anything other than a servicable back-up is beyond me. McNair would be the last QB on my list of interest. We've got a chance to land Brees in two days, and everyone seems to think that McNair would be the next best option for some reason. I'm lost here, because in my opinion McNair would probably have trouble unseating Frerotte. He's simply not an upgrade at this stage in his career, no thanks....

we have to get drew brees!! he is only 27 and then we have a franchise qb for the next 6-7 years...mcnair is a little bit too old at this point...
 
The McNair of three or four years ago, yes...the current McNair, no way! Saban has to somehow get Brees in here, Culpepper would be alright too.
