:bighug: in there latest mock drafts made this weekend both todd mcshay and mel kiper have quinn falling to 6 ...where miami trades up from 9 with the redskins it was heard this past weekend on espn radio.......randy/cam must bring us all brady quinn......even if it means moving up to number 2 where the lions for a fact want to move down.......think about it kc if asking for a 2 for green i'd rather trade the 2 both of them plus a one this year and next to the lions to get quinn.......although in the end miami will get green cheap i believe.but we need a franchise qb.....at all costs....

On ESPN Insider the top 3 for Todd Mcshay are below he doesn't think Quinn falls to us.

1. Oakland Raiders (2-14)
Projected pick: +JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU

2. Detroit (3-13)
Projected pick: +Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech

3. Cleveland (4-12)
Projected pick: Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame

Until McShay and Kiper represent all 8 teams drafting above us I will wait until draft day to put any stock in anything!

If anyone in the top 5 drafts Gaines Adams then Miami should move up to the 6 spot no matter what. If Adams is gone then that means at least 1 out of Russell, Quinn, Johnson, Thomas, and Landry are still there at 6. It would only cost a 3rd round pick (or some people are saying a 4th and a 7th) and any of those 5 players are much better than anything that will be available at #9.

Please don't move up... I am tired of this organization giving up picks....

c'mon bryan theres like a 15 % chance he falls to #9 and maybe a 20 % chance we trade up............ end the madness. If we end up getting him..... then you can declare your love.

I know what you mean about giving up picks, but I think that is why Randy and Cam stock piled them this year, to get Quinn and not have to worry about a QB for years to come, I mean every year for the past 3 seasons we have given up at least a second for a QB in trade, why not grab Quinn and mold him like Cam did Rivers?

Pompy Are You Tired Of Bad Qb Play Well I Am Thats Why In This Case Of Giving Up Picks To Get Our Franchise Qb It's Well Worth It.....!

You said it better!!! 10000000% agree!!! Get Quinn is it cost us a few picks this year and maybe one next year..

Bryan - love your enthusiasm, but your man-love for BQ is over the top. It would be reckless and foolish for Miami to give up so many picks to move to the number 2 spot for a player who may not pan out. Just chill and let things sort themselves out.

If Quinn falls to 6, then I think it would be wise to trade a 4th and a 7th to the Skins and grab him. Other than that, we need the other picks to fill a lot of holes.

Besides - do you have any idea how much Quinn would cost in the #2 spot? Between him, RB, and JA - we would have a huge amount of cap space being taken up and only one of them on the field contributing right away - and he still needs a back-up (RW return aside).

You need to start thinking TEAM. But, yah, I would love to see us get Quinn as well - just not at all costs.
