This passed Saturday I got hitched. I still have a lot of stuff from the wedding in my wifes Jeep. We decided to go look for a christmas tree and didn't have enough time to remove everything outta the back seat. Driving through the parking lot of the Home Depot, I noticed that there was a huge line coming outta the ATT store. I decided to ask what they were giving away and this guy decked out in all Dolphins gear said that Ricky Williams was signing autographs

Not having enough time to run home and get my Fins helmet, I grabbed the next best thing, our wedding sign in book!!! The guy is mad cool. He shook mine and my wifes hand, told us good luck, gave us a few words of wisdom, and signed my wedding book. By far the coolest signature and congratulations of them all!!!!

Ricky's cool as hell...my wife and I met him at a Dolphins draft party and he took pics with us and signed stuff. Congrats on getting married dude and cool story. Wish you and your new wife the best...

Isn't weird seeing him in person cause he looks much bigger in tv than in real life. Thanks forthe well wishing bro!!!

Yeah he's not that big of a guy, looks like a normal person. But then again, thats the new Ricky. I'm sure he looked bigger in 2002 when he was the rushing champ. The Dread Lock Demon...I kind of miss that Ricky. I loved watching him play like he was possessed

I met Ricky about 4 years ago. I knew a guy that knew the owner of his gym/yoga place,

anyway I was with the guy I knew and we were around there. the owner was out in front and out comes Ricky Williams following a workout. Ricky asks us if we wanted to go to a joint (no pun intended) down the street for a a bite to eat.

well we did and I hung out with RW for about 45 minutes at the table talking about a bunch of topics and having a blast.

Was that in Marin somewhere? I don't recall where Ricky was doing his Yoga thing.

I've met a couple of athletes and Ricky by far is the coolest out of all of them. You could tell that he's not materialistic like most of them. He truly wants to win for the people and not the payday. A very humble guy that I hope sticks around for awhile

Ricky is a class act. I don't think I'm going out on a limb when I say he may be the most intelligent, insightful professional athlete in any sport. He's truly a breath of fresh air in a professional sports landscape littered with punks and buffoons.

Yo cool story! :hump:

Congrats on the marriage and it's nice to hear of a pro sports player being a down to earth person. I work for a hotel here in Sacramento and had Daunte Culpepper stay with us for a few days (his team was playing Jeff Garcia's team). He wasn't as friendly as I would have expected and he ended up getting two rooms and after all was said and done the damn hallway smelled like weed!!

Anyways he came in and he and his buddy's watched some college game going on. I didn't care to talk to him because he didn't seem very talkative. Rickey would be someone I would enjoy meeting one day though.
