I remember the talk of how Gase was enamoured with Rosen.

Funny thing is....Tannenbaum says he and Grier liked Rosen... But Gase was stuck on Tannehill.

I believe him...he said that had Gase been behind a trade up... it would have happened in the 2018 draft.
 
The only QB I remember Gase having a woody for was Baker...

But I'm old and my neurons are offering diminishing returns daily.
 
The problem is a lot of fans weren't ready to move on last year. It would have been a disaster having Tannehill and Rosen on the team. And to be honest I could see Gase giving Rosen the Glanville treatment.

If I remember Gase never had real interest in anyone but baker. Everyone else was a smokescreen. I believe grier and t-baum had interest in Rosen. It did not matter at the time because they were never realistic options when we picked
