Media is So Unbelievable

Vote with your dollars (clicks are dollars). I no longer frequent PFT or ESPN. I used to enjoy commenting on the ESPN site until it became crap, now I frequent afcenews as a better alternative. I haven't been to a Miami area website for quite a while as the coverage is lacking. There are options out there where you can still get quality content without supporting low quality journalism. The only times I visit a local Miami or espn/pft type site nowadays is if the linked article seems worth it, and that is rare. Finheaven is a good source for news as well, where you can get a preview of the articles and not click on the garbage.

How flawed? I mean, I know the actual numbers in how accurate they are and what the error level is but do you or are you just saying it cause you don't like the results?

No...ESPN said themselves when they first released the poll that it was "unscientific" which is code for not that well done; but have convientiently left that part out as they continue showing it

Well yes somewhat, Im not going to lie if it fits my agenda I`ll take it but it doesn't so I`ll try to discredit it, which in this case is very easy... anybody with any sort of math background would reject that poll...
 
Yeah just finished watching Hines Ward almost cry about being bi racial is the hardest thing in the world. Media is going crazy

Ok. Well at least you admit you have an agenda and if the results were reversed you'd have no issue citing it. Kudos to you. When you say reject it, tell me to what degree it would be rejected. Would it be totally rejected as having nothing of value? Do you know what the error margin is with a 95% confidence level when sampling 72 people out of 1500?

Costas made a good point, which he pressed, why not do away with the word every where every situation. Hines, did not want to answer.

The organization deserves the blame for not allowing them to speak.
 
the Dolphins locker room uniting behind Incognito's story instead of Martin's really threw them for a loop. they were hoping for a Riley Cooper situation that didn't develop and now something has to be wrong with 52 guys because they don't agree with the narrative that the media has tried to paint. if this team comes out and wins against TB on Monday it will prove the leadership that exist in the locker room. to take this week of distractions and still win a football game will mean more than anything else that the media tries to pin on them.

All the sudden a game against an 0 - 8 team became beyond critical. I know it was a must win anyway to stay in sight of the playoffs, but now it seems this game could go a long way to proving the locker room innocent in the public eye. I still can't fathom just how wildly this story has spun out of control.

Yeah Incognito doesnt know how to be a leader.

Next year we draft tougher guys with leadership. mostly OL too. Who else on the OL can be a leader? Pouncey is the only one. Cogs was voted in by the players and Martin!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a good point. I live in NE and they are killing us on talk radio. "This would never happen in NE Because Bill knows everything that's going on in his house." Really, that why he signed a guy with tons of red flags to a multi million dollar contract and the guy ended up being a murderer. Michael Holley, who I usually like, is the worst on this issue. He seems to badly want this to be mean racist jerk Incognito picking on poor Martin it's not even funny. He was so pissed when the fins locker room backed cogs. "Philbin told them to be quiet and theyspoke, no respect for their coach these guys should have said nothing." Never heard him after it was said that Philbin said they could speak on that Wednesday. Enough on my Michael Holley rant but he was butchering the story and it drove me nuts, almost called in.
