Now that Ricky is back in the fold, all the sportstalk local radio stations are labeling the fans as hypocrites because we're rooting for him! Well, guess what! it was those same media phonies thAT were fueling the flames day in and day out before Ricky returned. All of them took turns taking shots at Ricky and Saban for allowing him back. I remember the Big "O" and Ethan Skolnick on QAM ripping Ricky fierce. Ethan whined about harnful effect of Ricky's lockerroom presence and the Big "O" said Jamal Lewis (in jail at the time) was a better person than Ricky. (Disgusting)The media is the true hypocrite and I don't blame Saban for his "closed door" policies. Ricky's big mistake was his pot smoking! The real villain was Wanny, and Wanny would've killed Ricky in 2004. Remember, when we beat the Colts in OT? Wanny ran Lamar 40 times. We won, but Lamar couldn't get out of bed 'til the following Thursda. We traveled to Oakland and got our butts whipped, and lamar didn't rush for more than 20 yards. Yeah, Ricky's weird, but the real demon was Wanny. And Wanny was a quitter just like his daddy Jimmy.

Now you know why Saban looks at the media like they are his *****es.

The whole nature of being a fan defies logic. It is silly for them to expect fans to be logical about something they are illogical about

IF the team is fortunate enough to be in the same position soon, saban could run ricky 20 times and ronnie 20 times and do it again the next week. how punishing would that be to opposing teams?

I disagree. I'm capable of applying logic even to things I like as much as I do the Dolphins. Of course, I have never been one to blast Ricky or most other players. I'll be rooting for Ricky on and off the field just like I always have.

then explain the logic of being a fan

I've talked about this to several of my friends and still cant believe how the Dolphin fans are a bunch of whores. How can you accept Ricky back after what he did to your team last year? If that had been Edge, I would never welcome him back. Some suggest that winning heals old wounds, not me. Yeah, it is a business, but its a passion to a whole lot more. Just my opinion as always.

so are the players a bunch of whores, too? they are the ones who actually physically accepted him back. we fans are just along for the ride.

Listen. I am a fan of the Miami Dolphins, and when Ricky retired, he was not a Miami Dolphin, so we got mad and we heard about the drugs and bla bla bla. But now he is on the team again, so I will root for him because he is a player on my football team. I don't care about what he did away from the field. I don't like Chris Chambers beacuse he prefers his bagel slightly toasted, I like him for what he brings to the team. In the end, if you play for the Dolphins, I will root for you, if you don't, I won't. I don't care about your life away from the field.

Okay that right there shows me you're completely insane. I mean, who doesn't like a slightly toasted bagel? Do you like chewing on rubber or something?

I've read enough of Ethan Skolnick to gain an undeniable appreciation for his lack of insight. He's a B class sports journalist. That's all you need to know. If you want to read some quality stuff, go look up Peter King and Dr. Z.

I tend to agree there is a lot of hypocracy coming from a lot of Dolphin fans these days concerning Wicky.

Exactly! At the time, I was certainly upset when Ricky left, but to be honest, it was the absloute best thing that could have happened to this franchise. If Ricky plays, we could have had another mediocre season and possibly still had the worst coach in the NFL. Sure, last year was miserable, but now there is hope. Another year under Wanny and I would've had to give up football. ANd now that Ricky's back, why wouldn't I want him to succeed. He was an amazing player and and undeniably exciting to watch. I want the Dolphins to win and he's going to help that cause.
