Has anyone bought Mel's draft kit?Thoughts?Would you buy it again?Yes, I'm considering spending some greenbacks to satisfy myitch

I would also be interested in hearing what people have to say. I spent money on the ESPN draft guide last year. It was just ok I guess.

I've purchased the Draft Report for several years. I've been satisfied with it - book is about 125 pages with fairly small print. He provides rankings by position as well as a fairly detailed write-up on the top 150 players or so. Also does a team needs section as well as a mock draft.

I haven't looked at other draft guides in the past, so I don't have anything to compare it too. Mel's book typically comes a couple of weeks before the draft, so he is able to take into account a lot of the free agent acquistions into the team needs section as well as factor in some of the individual workouts.

Hope that helps.

Thanks. I will probably go ahead and get it this year. Do you know when it is available?

Thanks, Have you ever gotten the whole kit; the FA guide and Teams existing players evaluation, etc? was that worth it?

Playmaker: You can order the Draft Report now, but it won't be delivered until 2-3 weeks before the draft.

NorFla: I've not ordered the entire kit before - ordered the Draft Review one time several years ago and did not get that much out of it.

I used to get the Joel Buschbaum report it was awesome. he passed away a few years ago and there has been a guide as good as his. When a free agent comes available I go back to his draft class and check what Joel had to say about him coming out from college, and Joel Buschbaum was right on the money. You can google him and see what I mean.

i had it last year pretty cool but not much info id like to get a difrrent one from a smaller company with more info ill be looking online soon after the combine.
