Take away the run that Butler vacated his hole and Gordon went untouched for 25 yards and we stuffed him all day.

Stopping him changed the game. Once we did they they got away from him, and we absolutely destroyed thst oline and rivers.

He still got 24 carries. It wasn't like what we would do with Miller last year where he'd get 12 carries and we'd pass 50 times.
I think Earl Mitchell was a big difference in the middle of our defense. He made San Diego pay for doubling Suh.
Mitchell was huge, having him back makes for a great rotation at DT. That six yard loss he had on Gordon when they had the ball at the one carrying the G on his back might have been his best play in Dolphins uniform. Not to mention when Jenkins totally wrecked Gordon pass blocking. Gordon was beat up all game.

I honestly mentioned this many times, I thought our Dline would do great vs Chargers Oline & contain him with having Mitchell back it keeps the Defensive Tackles fresh.
