Memo to the dolphins: Fix the running game

With 5min left in the game last night the Steelers took the ball with 3 points lead and ran it down their Tits(I meant the Titans).
That was classic football right there. If we had that kind of running game, we'll be 8-2 right now. I hate it when its 3rd and 2 and you pass the ball, it stinks.

You realize we sit 7th in the league in terms of rushing yards and 6th in terms of rushing yards per game right?
 
We had that plan going into the season, til the unfortunate injury to Moreno... DAMN IT Moreno, WHY WHY?!!!!
 
And if we run the ball and 3rd and 2 and get nothing, then what? Should have passed. Can't play the Titans every week.
 
I don't think Miller is the type of running back that can get many yards when the other team knows you're going to run it, especially with our o-line right now.

And I'm all for any type of play that doesn't put the ball in Daniel Thomas' hands.
 
Despite what I said above it is going to be a tough matchup for the boys upfront. Denver is stout against the run, very stout. Miami is going to have to work to rush the football this week and to be honest I feel the key to winning this game is rushing the football. Keep Manning off the field for as much time as possible.

How did that running game work against the Jets? 17 carries for 36 yards...in case you were wondering.

So why didn't they replace Moreno with another strong, powerful RB who could convert a 3rd and 1 even when there are no holes and the box is stacked?
 
LeVeon Bell is playing like a top 3 NFL running back. He is incredibly patient and has great vision. He has also avoided getting injured even after 40 carries in the game. Lamar Miller is making good strides for the Dolphins and making a good contribution. This is by far his best season but he is not built the same as Bell.

And where would we find this magical RB? lol
 
We have 2 guys who we all thought would be starting in James and Pouncey but, they are playing new positions. If anyone included Dallas, he's also at a new position. It's been a really rough road for Benton I'm surprised he has done as well as he has.

When teams put more than 6 in the box, it's been tuff going.

There was some smoke on a trade with TB at the deadline but, nothing came of it for whatever reason. Maybe James can give us a little spark.
