Thank you for showing that you care for us.

Seems like former LB Derrick Rodgers was in the USAF. Dont know if he was ever in a combat zone or not. Anyways, a big thank you to all those who have served, and who are currently serving!

From one proud vet to all the other out here in Finheaven, and our great nation! I raise my beer in great pride and support for past and present! I did 11 years in the USMC! Please take a moment while cooking on the grill, and drinking beer, and spending time with loved ones, to take a minute to remember, and reflect of those brave men, and women who gave there lives for our freedom, then, and especially today. We salute all of our men and women in our armed forces! From this former military server to all of those out there, we couldn't enjoy our freedoms with you! God bless, and a big Semper Fi!

Bro I will too, when I am busting butt with father in law all weekend. I sometimes think, and not you, but people tend to just think of this as a three weekend, and nothing more. I had a veteran who came into my shop on Friday, and served in two wars, and tried for three, but they would not let him. He is going to spend his memorial day at the cemetery, looking at the friends he lost. However he did tell me that he did kill an awful lot of people in his time in war. Please look out for our veterans. A lot of them have fallen on hard times.

Good question. I am not sure about military vets on the Phins.

I also served in Desert Shield/Desert Storm. What branch were you in? Location? I was in B battery, 2/7 Patriot Bn. (U.S. Army) in Saudi. My wife was in a medical company stationed in UAE during Desert Storm.

God bless all who have served and currently serve. It's a hard job but somebody's got to do it. To those military spouses who stand behind that serviceman/servicewoman....you have the toughest job in the military and I certainly salute you too.
:salute:

Thanks to all for the kind words for the Vets..
I was in the Army, Headquarters,4th Battalion,68th Armor,24th Infantry Division..Stinger (ADA) in the Persion Gulf latter assinged to 1st Infantry Division during the war for air support..Its always great to hear from a fellow Air defender-(If it Flies,It Dies)- Get some :cooldude:

I cant find any record of Dolphin players in combat yet??..
What gave me the idea was I saw a show on NFL WWII vets and one was Chuck Bendereik-(Sorry for the spelling)- from the Eagles I loved his story..true Iron Man..Played both Offense & Defense .The Dolphins were started in 1966, so the first war could of been Vietnam, I wont give up and thanks in advance for the help..Enjoy your weekend FinFans..

I also am a Desert/Shield/Storm vet. I was attached to the 1ID as a tactical radio repairman. A toast to those who served and to to those serving now in the present. I did 13 years in the Army, left as a SSG in 92.
