So what happens if they make it to the playoffs undefeated? Just think of the 2007 Patriots, Morris said.

New England was undefeated heading in to the Super Bowl and lost the big game to the New York Giants.

“Go ask the Patriots how difficult it is to do it and how they feel about some little kid in Guatemala wearing those perfect 19-0 Super Bowl tees,” he said.


But c’mon Merc, what happens if the Panthers actually go undefeated and win the Super Bowl?

“Do you know the second biggest canyon in the U.S.?” he said. “No, because everyone only knows about the Grand Canyon. No one cares about the second to do anything.”

I don't really care about someone else having the record, as long as they do it well. I couldn't stand the Pats to win them all, cheating bastards. If the Panthers win them all, at least that means the Pats don't win the Super Bowl.
