I just heard this on our Sportstalk radio in Rochester, they said the Dolphins are interested in trading for Randy Moss?

Has anyone else heard this ?

And yes I am being serious.

I didn't realize Randy Moss was also an offensive lineman :D

Had not heard it, pray it does NOT happen. Too much cap space required, too little effort, too much dissention in the locker room, not a team player. Hate him, don't want him on my team. Its all about "me" to Moss, couldn't care less about his team or winning IMHO.

As much as I'm in favor of such a trade, there is no way we'd be able to handle his contract.

This does NOT happen.

And if it does, it will be the END of Sabans career as Head Coach of the Dolphins.

i was actually thinkin this myself when i saw somethin on espn bout him wanting to be traded. i wouldn't be against it at all, but then again i dunno how much it'd cost. i think moss is getting an unfair rep in oakland, i don't know of any player that would be happy over there.

Never happen for MANY reasons. 1) salary (no room); 2) Raiders already missing 1 of their top WR's on holdout, why trade the only other you have ? 3) Moss needs at least 3 to 4 seconds to run down the field and by that time CPep will already be on his back; 4) I don't think Saban really wants that big of a distraction; 5) We're not going to make any significant moves until the off-season as teams with losing records tend to get rid of players mid-season, not add.
As talented as he is, we need a LOT more players to improve than a WR right now!!!

The salary cap is the primary issue w/both teams. If it was possible I have no doubt Saban would look into it......he seems to keep his options open on any player with talent.

Hmm if a team who has salary cap space, as well as needs another WR came around.. SNAP that SOUNDS like the Pats! Oh wait excpet BB never ever want Moss's attitude on his team!:goof:

I like the receiving crew we got.

Moss would be sweet to have, chambers and moss is a deadly group.

Duante veto a deal? LOL since when does an overated, underperforming QB get that power?

Why would Daunte veto that deal (as if he has any veto power)...The best days of his career were with moss
