MERGE-Paul Edinger works out for Dolphins??

So if this guy works out for Miami, why dont we just sign him now. The guy is an amazing kicker, kicked a game-winning 56 yarder last year...or the year before?? I dont know if this guy plays on a team or not, if he doesnt than thats surprising...but he is a hell of a good kicker. I hope Saban brings him and splits kicks with Mare. At the end of season let Mare go.

i remember awhile back, Matt Bryant was a free agent for awhile...i thought Miami brought in a kicker with the last name Bryant once....and look what he did this week, he kicked a 62 yarder to win.
 
For the sake of change,and maybe free some cap space for the future or something,just sign him or anybody at this moment.
 
paul edinger is also about 5 years younger. i like the younger guys, altho Mare can last for another 5-7 years...i prefer the younger dudes.

no no, like that movie with Denzel Washington when he coached the football team in the "racist" era back 20-30 years ago (TC Williams)...god i forget the name. But if u drop a pass, u run a mile...u miss a block, u run a mile...u miss a kick, u run a mile.

remember the titans works with kids not grown men....if he feels complacent with his job bring in someone that is hungry for it

Mare has definitely shown a decline this season. Not only is he missing FG's, but his kickoffs aren't as strong as they used to be either. It's not that he isn't good, it's just that he has become inconsistant...like nearly every other player on the team.

Is Eddinger really that good, or would we just be trading inconsistant for inconsistant?
 
Back in day when Pete Sto entered the game, I felt a great deal of confidence that he was going to come through. However, whenever Mare comes in to kick a crucial kick, I always get the sense that he'll miss, and usually does. He's overpaid and overrated!!
