Who thinks Randy McMichael should ride...

the pine for awhile, his play is so inconstant, it is mind boggling, his half hearted attempts to block, his inability to make catches on a regular basis, his OVERALL PLAY IS BAD?
 
I might agree with you. His head just isn't in the game. He let Woodson blow right by him for a sack and then the drops, oy the drops.

That means incosistency.

Mike needs to let his off-field problems go away and concentrate.
 
Sit his butt and let him think about how bad he is. I'm with ya on this one bro. Randy really sucks, but so does the entire team. Saban has lost control of his players and is looking like he doesn't belong in the NFL. Jason Taylor, Welker and Zach are the only three guys who deserve to start.

Yes the woodson blitz annoyed me to no end and still does. although he still seems to have his physical talent his concentration has been declining for a couple of seasons now....
 
I've grown tired of Mcmichael over the years I think we should trade him in the offseason. He isnt worth the money he makes because of his inconsistant play.
 
McMichael has to play. Unless Justin Peele is a better blocker (run and pass) then McMichael is a better option. I say that because I know Peele is primarily a pass-catching TE like McMichael's, so I'm not exactly keen on his blocking abilities. I know McMichael's sucks, and I'm afraid that Peele's could be worse.

I don't understand why people are upset about the drops. He's been doing it for years now. I don't know why we gave him the extension. He should be a cap casualty next year.
 
McMike is somebody that I'm really freaking torn about!! On one hand when he does catch the ball he has a great talent of finding the sticks and getting first downs. On the other hand he does some crap like what happened today and is responsible for 10 of the Packers points.

Even if Peele is worse it sends a message to the players. If you dont play with 110% you will be benched. These guys are too complacent we need them to be playing like there jobs are on the line. It seems like they really dont care out there until the end of the game

Never been a big fan of his in the first place and his inconsistent play is extremely frustrating.
 
He should ride the short bus back to whichever trailer park he beats his wife in. We are very thin at TE so no point in benching him. Still it's a big weakness on this team. In an age of incredibly gifted and deep TEs we're one of the bottom 5 teams at the TE position.

McMike is a lousy blocker. Plus, with all the drops (two tips for INTs, one of which was a pick6) Im not so sure that Peele isn't as good a pass catcher.
Randy should be benched...so should W. Allen for that stupid taunting penalty. It doesnt matter if it we win or lose the next game, a message needs to be sent that everyone is accountable for their actions. Saban came in preaching that...he just hasnt bothered to back it up.
 
I really like the guy but in winning teams, you don't see that many drops by your #1 tight end. He was not alone but man he played bad today. He missed a tackle that allowed a sack ruining a possession, directly responsible for 2 int's and few drops. Those kind of performance can't allow you to win. I believe we have a lot of good players but somehow, it looks like of them simply don't make the plays needed. I'm not bashing at him because he is a talented player but I'm just sad to see the season going this way.
