C-PEP has been inactive.
He's not the #2 QB
The Fins just brought up M. Vick from the practice squad...yeah I know he's replacing C. Russell but M. Vick can also play QB.

Now the comments made by Jimmy Johnson really bother me...how can he say that C-PEP is all "done" in Miami and that he will never wear the Fins uniform again as their starterThan I read that he still has "inside" sources in the Miami camp...does he know something about the C-PEP situation that we don't?

Saban is taking alot of heat for starting the season off with C-PEP. The media is saying that starting C-PEP was the reason why our 2006 season is lost...geez reading this also worries me. From what I saw...C-PEP looked okay in preseason...and he looked fine in the first game against the Steelers...things went down hill after that. I'm sure C-PEP wants to play...he wants to prove himself and be the leader of this team.

I really hope C-PEP becomes the all pro I envisoned he would in a Miami Dolphins uniform...soon.

Go Fins!!!

After that first game in Pittsburg, defensive co-ordinators saw Culpepper's weakness and exploited it, and thus his decline. I thought when they activated Vick, they where making him their 3rd string quarterback also, and I believe that Culpepper is headed to IR. If there isn't any improvement next year, just like Jimmy Johnson said, he is through in Miami. His salary cap next year is another reason for consideration.

You actually think that Vick being put on the roster is an indication that Culpepper is getting dumped off the roster?

... Wow. Just, wow.

Things went downhill DURING the Pitt game, he started off well but he nearly had an INT in the EZ(if Ike taylor holds on Pitt gets it) then threw 2 back to back horrible INTs which sealed the game for Pitt. That's what daunte was known for in Minny even when he was healthy. He has always had good fantasy #s but has never been good when his team needs him most.

I thin next yr C-Pep Sal is like 9 million

so the question is will the dolphins pay 9 million to see if he is a bust or not or go another way with the money.

yeah...jj is a punk...i can't stand him...and yeah i believe that our horrible o-line play has also contributed to C-PEP's lack of success thus far...even though Joey has looked okay and has made the o-line look better.

Go Fins!!!

He did not look fine against Pittsburgh. He missed on two TD passes; one at the end of the first half, one in the fourth quarter. He was bad in the first game, and got worse from there.

i think Vicks promotion has less to do with DC and more with helping Welker on ST.

i agree with you. Culpepper's progress is not determined on the activation of Vick IMO. Yes, they should have started Harrington in the beginning that's a given. At this point you have to look at the fact that Culpepper did get us our first win almost rallied us back to beat the Texans, which we should have won and that's really all you can say about this season besides the losses the sacks and the ints lol.

This is a good point, but there is more to it. Culpepper is just not that bright. So for him, he's got to be better than healthy, he's got to be 100% healthy, he's got to have a great OC, and hes got to have great WRs, or he isn't going to be successful. Last year, prior to injury, we saw what he was minus Linehan and Moss. He wasn't a very good QB...I don't think its correct to blame his ineffectiveness on his injury.

acutally...look back at what I wrote...i didn't say just because of Vick making the active roster...i also listed other reasons. i also forgot to add that the Fins are 1-5 and making the playoffs now are very slim...so that may be another reason they put him on IR. and you make it seem that i think that he will get cut off the team...i said IR...that's what i said and guess what...he already is off the active roster...he was inactive last game...and he will be inactive this Sunday...again. so...wow just wow.

Go Fins!!!

believe me folks...i want to see C-PEP play well in Miami...i really hope he can play well in Miami and really soon.

Go Fins!!!

9 Million in salary cap, wow, that could be used somewhere else where it is needed, besides we don't have any salary cap space this year.
