John Madden seems to think we don`t have it all yet...but we did play hard and had a Lead on the World Champs for a while there....the plan is not a 2 year one.....relax....
 
Why all the panic?????

We played the superbowl champions for crying out loud.

I think some of us were on cloud 9 thinking we would win just because they got batch, if Jay Fiedler can win by counting on his defence (like he did with us). There is no reason why Charlie Batch couldn't.

That was there game plan, batch did have 3 td passes but only had like 70 yards passing till the big play.

We played with the champs till the last 8 minutes on the road. That proves to me we are capable of hanging with just about anyone.

Don't forget we got 3 winnable games next buffalo, tenn, and houston.

We shoudl be 3-1 going into NE on week 5.

Daunte Culpepper is a joke, he has no composure and is now, slow.

We will be 8-8 at best and the Pats will win the SB AGAIN!!!

Seriously, calm down. Travis Daniels was out and the safeties will be shifted around. Goodman was a penalty/ bad play machine. We were outplayed and outcoached in the fourth quarter. The line focused on pass protection so much they forgot to run block. Culpepper will settle in after this and we'll start winning next Sunday against the Bills... at home.

Don't fret kiddies.
 
i cant say that im not exactly looking behind my back...but seeing as though we still have a suspect Defensive Backfield and we really did play one of the best Defenses i'll put my noose in the closet for now(just playing)
 
Another thing is why play your best game as your first game of the season? We know the dolphins will improve. They have cpep playing his first dolphins game, new o-line pieces, new offensive coordinator. The team will get stronger as the year goes on. Its much better to hit your high note late in the season then hit on all cylinders right now.

I agree we got a favourable schedule this year. If we can iron out the bugs this team could still win 11 games this year.

Playoffs are definately a possibility, I could see some panic if we lose to buffalo next week. We got 11 days to prepare for them, and we are at home, plus they're just god awful.
 
No way we get to 8-8, come on the best this team will do is 2-14. Haha. Seriously some of these people on this board don't know a football for a potato. To them one loss where if a few plays go our way we win against the defending champs, means Culpepper stinks, Ronnie is a bust, and our defense is terrible. And people wonder why Dolphins fans are thought of as uneducated football fans.

I don't make new threads much because i like reading other posts. But this time I am starting one of my own. This is to counter all the idiotic and negative threads about Daunte, Ronnie and everyone else that these so called Dolphins fans are saying things about. You are unbelievable and you know who you are. It is one game against the defending Champs, in their house. This is why ya'll right these things? I can't believe this, I am not happy we lost, but it is only the first week. We have the best chance with this team to go the playoffs. It has been a long time coming, this is basically a new team. New QB, new secondary, new offensive line. Give them a chance to gel together before making these stupid threads about how DC sucks and RB is not a starting caliber rb. The ones that make these threads are not true fans. Please leave the team now, we do not want you as fellow fins fans. Thank you for letting me have my say. Can I get a "HELL YEAH!!!!!", if you agree with me. :fire:
 
Relax Guys, Get Ready for a Great Year!

I see so much doom and gloom after the game. It is understandable as we all want to win. Now we know where we stand and need to get it done over the course of the year. It can happen without a doubt.

We have two new Co-ordinaters who are not used to our players in game time situations. I for one thought Mularkey was way too cautious with the play calling for 85% of the game. How can you expect Culpepper to be in the groove to fire downfield when you haven't let him test the Steelers the whole game. They just stacked the line and he did nothing to force them to back off the line of scrimmage.
We will learn and get better. Repeated trick plays against the world champs won't get it done. Execution will. You do not need to trick someone when they can't stop you. We all want to win, 15 games to go...
LET'S GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
