Holy ?!#$#! Who in the world replaces him as a LS? Did anybody else get any reps during the preseason?

Donald Lee will sleep a little easier tonight.

It's interesting that they cite Denney as his replacement. That means that the roster spot is still taken up by a LS.
 
He was bettered by an undrafted rookie.... who will likely make peanuts... hmmm.... making room on the roster for Simon and the $$$ he's going to command maybe?
 
WOW!!! There is a surprise cut right there. Guess we will have 3 TE spots on the final roster, and denney will take up a DE spot. I never would have guessed this given he got a contract extension. It was the first deal saban did. Good luck Ed!!!

Rookie longsnappers might look very different in preseason than they do with 5 seconds to go in a blizzard in new england or buffalo mid-December.

We're going to regret this. IMO, This move cost us at least one win, at some point this season.

Most of you were talking about surprise cuts, this is a surprising cut and I'm shocked..

I really thought Ed Perry was a lock to make this team.
 
Brock Berlin was also cut. Does this mean were sticking with our three incumbent QB's heading into the season, or will another move be made?

I don't know it will cost us a win yet, but I think there will be a play or two that really hurts us in a game because of this.

However, until proven otherwise, I will have faith in Saban.

Agreed - Just don't think one more loss is going to matter this year. Need more good core players first then can worry about specialists.
