my .02, i think this game gets televised.

if they werent worried about tv rights, it would have made sense to play the game this afternoon and let the steelers get out of town.

i just got off the phone with the direc tv rep and she said as far as she knows, the game would still be televised, even though it had been moved. again, i know these directv people are giving many different answers, but the fact that cbs college football mentioned it as well is good news too.

I'll be on a midshift watching the game tracker. Ever notice how the arrows after each play move backwards when Miami has the ball?...lol Hopefully that changes.

lol true! i don't think it will be televised.... why? because this is the season from hell and the last hurricane game wasn't televised.
 
what about on a tape delay held after the ESPN game?

At least that way everyone can see it (either live on the west coast or taped if it's on too late by east coasters). Doesn't that satisfy all parties involved?

as i said to this same statement in another thread, that won't happen.... everyone would end up staying up till 3 a.m. watching the game then (except those on the west coast). Considering both teams are east coast teams, i doubt they'd do that.
 
Last time the excuse was Sunday Ticket couldn't show it because of a 40 year old law preventing the NFL to compete with college between Friday night and Sunday. Okay fine. So what about Mon and Tues? No sorry, can't compete with ESPN's and ABC's exclusive rights. WTF??? CBS and Fox go head to head nationally every week. It's going to kill ESPN or ABC to concede marketshare for one f-- week? F-- them. This season is driving me mental. Sunday's are starting to suck, and all I got in between is the f--ing hockey strike 24/7. Who;s right, who's wrong, should there be a cap, shouldn't there be. What is Mats sundin doing now that he isn't being the most overrated player in the NHL. WHO GIVES A F---!!!! I just want to see my fins
