On dolphins homepage at nfl.com down at the left has the home and away games and its pretty easy.... tennessee, greenbay, buffalo two times, minnesota, detroit on turkey day these are all teams we can definitely beat but watch out for pats

We can beat any team on the 16 game schedule. Saban's approach to every game will be to win, so it's just a matter of the application of principles learnt through our schemes and processes. Winning the games we should be able to is key, because anyone can beat anyone on any given Sunday in the NFL. How we win those games is what will define us as a team, as an organization, as a whole. Bridging the stimulus gap of that 'how' is where Coach Saban comes in and I think we're confident for the most part that Saban is the man required to bridge that gap.

Anyone know when the regular season is going to start? As in the exact date. Have to plan a trip and would hate to miss opening day.

We have the Thursday operner?

No one knows yet.....tba.

He was just pointing out the opening Thurs...then 3 days later all others play on that Sunday

There is an outside chance we could be in the Thursday opener. The NFL likes to have its Super Bowl teams from the previous year open at home in the Week 1 primetime slots. For Pittsburgh, the matchups that would be most attractive to the networks would be Denver, Cincinnati, and Miami, probably in that order.

I dont think they like to do Division games that early...A denver game we be a great draw for the AFC championship "rematch"

well if it is Sept. 10th then we are going to start the season away. The Marlins have a home game that day.

When was the last time we started the season an away team?

been quite awhile. probably early 90s??

miami could open the season as a primetime game aka sunday night/monday night on the road or home. i would assume it would be a road game, but miami has made some progress and i think they could get a slot for a game, maybe against Indy in week 1? The NFL likes intriguing matchups to start the season, Indy/Miami seems to be a good one.
