Merged: 2008 Schedule/First Game!

WOW Dolphins-Bills in Toronto!!! :D Perfect for me somehow I knew it was gonna happen tho :D!!

Now the tickets tho, they're gonna be a b**** to get..

fellow T.O fans should have a sticky thread or w.e notifying other canadian fans when the tickets r up for sale online/rogers centre box office and what not..and any contests that may interest us..i donno jest a thought this would be beneficial and helpful to most finheaven canadian users..

btw here are my predictions for the season with the factors of weather, fatigue and what have you..

Sept 7. VS Jets - W
Sept 14. @ Cardinals - W
Sept 21. @ Patriots - L
Sept 28. BYE
Oct 5. Vs Chargers - L
Oct 12. @ Texans - W (I think this year they got the monkey off their back and get their 1st win in Houston)
Oct 19. VS Ravens - W
Oct 26. VS Bills - W
Nov 2. @ Broncos - L
Nov 9. VS Seahawks - L
Nov 16. VS Raiders - W
Nov 23. VS Patriots - L
Nov 30. @ Rams - L
Dec 7. @ Bills (Toronto) - W (Will be a lot of phin phans supporting the Dolphins)
Dec 14. VS 49ers - L
Dec 21. @ Chiefs - L
Dec 28. @ Jets - L

Call me crazy but I can see a 7-9 even 8-8 Season for the Phins..They get some much needed important home games in November that could benefit them and avoid cold weather in Seattle & New England. Toronto will depend whether or not the dome is open or closed but late late games in Kansas City and New York will have an affect on them due to the cold. But yet, as optimistic as I am, any best case scenarios would be 9-7 no more no less, this team has the talent it's all about clicking and having the ball bounce your way on a few possessions. I'm very excited for the season to start !

The 500 level is where the true fans will be! The walk from Union Station to the dome through the skywalk will be neat to see so many fish fans together
 
We only have to worry about the cold with KC and Jets. KC it may be nice or nasty. KC is weird.

Ticket information will be available April 24th. If i remember correctly from the PC here in Toronto tickets will be astronomical. With the cheapest tickets I believe in the $250-300 range per.
 
Dolphins Coming To Toronto

Come On Toronto Fin Fans....try And Get Tickets And Make This A Home Game....i Know I Will...
 
i heard the AVERAGE price ticket would be between 2 and 300, which means the cheapest should be about 100 or so....still ridiculous seeing as i can get a ticket in buffalo for about 40, but ill still pay it

Well... no
Its colder with more snow in Buffalo and it will be played in a Dome......with underground parking....so... yeah the opposite of what you said.

It is not a good football stadium... 66000 people max MAX, the CFL team season ticket holders get first dibs, then Buffalo season ticket holders, than there is a lottery for the remainder....as of now there are well over 100,000 people in the lottery for what figures to be 25,000 seats MAX.. the average seat will cost $250 per game, and here is the best part, you muct purchase all 8 games... there is no single game ticket sales....

so you are looking at an average of $2000 per seat....with no gurantees about the opposition beyond this year...

Optimism is admirable, but this team isn't winning more than six games.
 
go to the buffalo bills page and there is a link to get on the list...
and forget about scalpers... the average will rise to $500 per seat by that point....

Unfortunately there were alot of fin fans in London too. That didnt help...
Your assessment isnt too bad though. 6-10, 7-9, 8-8 area IMO
 
I just dont like 4 out of the last 5 on the road....and again, we waste that edge in the beginning of the season with the heat. 1 home game 2 away and 1 bye week. crap.
 
how can the NFL make a team play 4 out of 5 games on the road to close the season, this is just totally unfair
